Asking the question, because the entire beauty department is [Oprah voice] on saaaaaaale. And not a little wimpy 10-percent sale, either. We’re talking 25-percent off everything. Your Top Shelf favorites. Your March Madness contenders. Your ITG Top 25 standouts. And, if you happen to have an Amazon Prime membership, you get an additional 10-percent discount on top of the 25-percent. The whole shebang is over April 2, so before then, be sure to grab...
Anything By Dr. Hauschka
It’s really hard to pick just one. Whether it’s the Leg and Arm Tonic that’s part pre-workout, post-workout muscle stimulator, and a general body oil on top of that. In the words of Camille Rowe, “I always use it after flights. I swear to God—you know when your legs feel really heavy? It just refreshes you.” Or there’s the Rose Day Cream, a favorite budget moisturizer around these parts. And then keep an eye out for the Bronzing Tint, too. A former ITG Top 25!
Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil
It may have lost in round 2 of this year’s Beauty March Madness, but it can still find a home on your shelf. Good for skin elasticity and a healthy glow.
Thayers Witch Hazel
Mentioned on Into The Gloss, in various ways, no fewer than 10,000 times. Time for you to see what the fuss is all about.
Aztec Indian Healing Clay
Yet another March Madness contender. This one’s still in the game. For now, at least.
Shea Moisture’s Curl Defining Smoothie
It’s what Utibe’s been raving about lately. “Layering it with shea butter on damp hair makes my braid-out feel soft for days,” quoth she. But while you’re there, you’ve got to grab a conditioner, too—they’re really in a class of their own. Try the Raw Shea Butter Restorative one. It’s what model Jaycina Almond credits for maintaining her larger than life curls.
Nemat Perfume Oil
The most inexpensive, delicate fragrances around. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but Narcissus, White Musk, and Amber are the favorites amongst the team here.
Juice Beauty’s Mascara
Endorsed by two Goop giants—Jean Godfrey June and Gwyneth herself. If your Whole Foods doesn’t carry it, try out the Cleansing Milk for size. It’s gentle, but strong enough to cut through makeup.
Heritage Store’s Rosewater
Typically referred to as the “pink toner from Whole Foods” in Top Shelf interviews. For some reason, no one can ever remember the name! An issue for their brand team to dive into, no doubt, but your issue is simply making sure it’s still in stock. Use it as a toner, a mister, or as a super subtle rose pick-me-up. The sky’s the limit.
MyChelle’s Sun Shield Liquid Tint
It’s got a waterweight texture, SPF 50, and because it’s tinted, it’s got a bit of a blur effect going on, too.
John Masters Organics Hair Care
John Masters is another go-to natural beauty brand for many a Top Shelf subject. Amanda Chantal Bacon says go for the Evening Primose shampoo, but Jessica Alba is all about the Honey and Hibiscus Hair Reconstructing shampoo. Up to you on which of the two makes a better saleswoman.
Weleda’s Skin Food
You don’t need a reason, do you? Here, just in case...
