"In Colombia, we party until 6AM. We go dancing until the club closes at 4-4:30, and then we go eat something. Usually we’d do that for the Ferias in Colombia, which is 5 days of drinking after Christmas. But now I’m too tired and old for that, and I hate it the next morning. So, now it’s date night on Thursdays. We start at home [in New York] with cheese, wine or a cocktail, listening to music... I’ll take a shower because I’ve usually been running around the city. I use a scrub for my body, and then I love coconut oil, or the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. I have to be careful with the oils — I can’t use a lot. Out of the shower, I do the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask, then the little eye pads from Koreatown. I’ll relax with those on while I decide what to wear.

When I think about my look for the evening, it starts with my skin — like if I’m breaking out, or if I shaved my legs. [Laughs] I started investing in really good product from a young age. I was one of the first of my friends who wore an eye cream — I loved Clarins', I think because the smell is a grown-up, kind of perfume-y one. Basically, I’ve had the same routine for years. I usually start with Caudalie Vinosource Sorbet, which is from my dermatologist. I’m trying to see if I like it. Then I do Embryolisse as a moisture barrier. It’s good for primer, it helps the makeup to set well. If I’m going somewhere fancy, I use the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, but the shade I have is just a little too dark for me, so I usually mix it with the CC Cream. I dab it onto my hand and use this Chanel foundation brush to put it all over my face. Then I use the Tarte concealer–Shape Tape — or the Clé de Peau Concealer. I have rosacea, so I put it wherever I need to hide redness.

MAKEUP
Mac Indianwood eyeshadow is pretty much my signature color. Basically, I just smudge it really close to the lashes with my finger. The Chanel Harmonie Du Soir is a quad I might use, or Eyeko Me and My Shadow in Chocolate in the hollow of my eye. Then either Mac Teddy liner, or this powder Guerlain one. I line the whole eye in a really tight line, even my waterline — it gives more definition and volume that way. I’m obsessed with this Jouer Crème Eyeshadow Crayon in Rococo too, because I like shimmery eyeshadows for nighttime.

I love Lancôme Grandiôse mascara, and Maybelline Colossal, it’s really nice. If I’m doing a cat-eye, I use the Nars Eyeliner Stylo in Koala, which is a kind of grey, because black is too much. Then for bronzer I use the Laura Mercier Coral Glow for a summer-y look. I just use my finger to tap it onto my skin. On my brows, I don’t use a pencil, just Glossier Boy Brow in Black because I like how easy it is. At night I use it generously. Then Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk, and RMS Living Luminizer on my brow bone, my nose, and my cupid’s bow to finish. For an outdoor event like a beach wedding, I have the Makeup Forever Pressed Powder, which I think is amazing. I just put in my t-zone.

I just discovered Hourglass… I’m obsessed. Lover is amazing because it comes in a chubby crayon. I also like this YSL Rouge Volupté 5 because it stays on like a stain. You can drink wine, eat dinner, and it’s still there. And these Nars lip pencils are my everyday. Bite Beauty in Marzipan or Black Orchid–they’re so creamy and delicious. Then I might mix and match Chanel Rouge Allure Intense in 90 Pimpante and Chanel 38 La Fascinante. Both are amazing reds. That's my favorite.

BODY
On a night like tonight — date night — I’d wear the Montale Roses Musk Eau de Parfum — I got married in this scent. I’ve always loved it. Usually I have two scents, one for summer, one for winter. I have an Hèrmes one I wear in the winter. And because I work with my hands, I do my nails myself. I’m wearing Essie’s Clambake, which is the best color of summer! This, and that red Hourglass lipstick are amazing together. I’m a red nails girl. Red lip and red nails, or nothing at all.

HAIR
I’ve had dandruff for 6 months, maybe because of stress or hormones. For that I use the Vichy shampoo, or La Roche-Posay. The Vichy I have to get in Colombia, so I always bring a bunch back with me. And I also lost a lot of hair due to stress, so for that I use Ducray, which is really good — it stopped the hair fallout. I just bought the Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse and it has really worked. I feel like it’s made a difference with the dandruff, and it’s also more vibrant. To style, I air dry my hair, and I do the Fekkai Summer Spray, or Bumble and bumble Surf for beachy waves. I like to add a little argan oil and then brush it, that helps strengthen. And I’m in this phase where I center part it, make a low chignon and tie it back, like a low bun.

SKINCARE
At the end of the night I always floss, take my makeup off with the Chanel Lait Confort soaked in a cotton pad or the Olay Cream Wipes. I always double cleanse–that’s a Korean skincare tip — starting with Cerave Cleanser or wipes and then the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser. Or, I’ll use Bioderma, all over. After cleansing I have this Kiehl’s Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence, it’s really good. It's a new product — it feels like you got a facial. Then I do the Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum, and Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM because it’s really good for rosacea. The eye cream I’m using right now is Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm — it’s so delicious. I brush my teeth and then I exfoliate and spray a chamomile tea spray I make myself. I’m going through a phase — I stopped my pill, I don’t know if my hormones are whack, but I’m breaking out like I never have. It never happened to me growing up, and now I can’t wear a lot of oils or heavy products, because I also have rosacea. I usually have one cheek that’s redder than the other. For that, my dermatologist recommended the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic Acid, and that’s really helped, I see this glow-y evenness.

STYLE
I don’t really dress up, but I like to twist what I was wearing earlier — add a bold lip or high heels. When I’m going full glam, I tend to do bright colors. My go-to is a Levi’s mom jean, and I love Attico, I think they’re a great company. I’m also really into vintage, and in New York we have such good access to vintage. I love 1 Of A Find on Vanderbilt — who knew? I got these Chanel velvet pants there. I’m inspired by Matisse, Picasso, you know, just bold artists. I’m rebranding and launching fine jewelry, and I think I just want to have more, really rich colors. My jewelry feels really feminine, but then it can be masculine because of the stones I use, or the lines, which are subtler. A lot of my jewelry is inspired by my dad, who was an eccentric man. He died when I was 11. But he used to wear these charms around his neck — always weird things like a Playboy Bunny next to a chili, and a crucifix, and a tennis racket… [Laughs] I always wear the chili now."
