"I’m getting married in six weeks! I’m also still DJ’ing a ton, doing Hannahgram with PopSugar, and working on HBFIT, which is my startup where we cover health, beauty, and fitness. I do a lot of interviews in the wellness sphere, so I’ve gotten really into it myself. Right now, that means making a lot of time to relax. I feel like when things are really hectic it’s important to carve out time for yourself. I usually relax with a bath, sometimes before I go out. Tonight I took one, actually. It's great for when you're feeling exhausted and want to feel energized. I always feel sort of brand new afterwards.
A really good night also starts with a face mask. Maybe I'll do a sheet mask with hyaluronic, and then I'll get all the extra serum into my skin. I don't have a favorite... I probably have 70. I let that soak into my skin and then I'll put on the 37 Actives Moisturizer. I found out about that brand from my dermatologist, Dr. Macrene—I call her Dr. A. She’s on the east side and she helped me redo my whole skin regimen about four years ago and is kind of the reason my skin is so good right now. My abbreviated routine after the night involves a wipe from Consonant, a foaming cleanser from Barbara Sturm, and the iS Clinical Active Serum.
I like this mattifying primer from Smashbox as a base. Depending on the weather, I'll use Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint, the Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation, or the 37 Actives Anti-Aging Treatment Foundation. If I’m going to use concealer, Hourglass Corrective Concealer is good. I have a bit of hyperpigmentation so I'll sometimes go over a few spots with it. If it was a late night the night before, I’ll use some under my eyes, too. No mascara, really, because I have lash extensions which I live by. I go to this guy named Christian Zamora. I’ve been seeing him for over a year and he just goes to town and does whatever he wants. I trust him with my lashes. Maybe sometimes I’ll use an eyeliner from Burberry or Dior if I want a cat eye. The Burberry Effortless Kohl is bit more smudgy, while the Dior is a liquid tip, so it’s really good for precision. On the lids I stick to browns and golds. It doesn’t look like I’m wearing a lot on my eyes, but I don’t really know how to do a smoky eye, so I just try and keep it pretty easy.
If I’m looking to do a bit of contouring, I’ll use the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate in Intensity Two in the hollows of my cheeks and maybe around my jaw line. Then, I’ll use a highlighter, whether it’s from Pat [McGrath], By Terry, or Charlotte Tilbury, and I’ll apply that to my brow bone, Cupid's bow, and cheekbones and maybe a bit on the top of my nose. I like when the light hits you in the right places and it give you this dewy, glowy feel, without making your skin feel slick and shiny. It’s always the right kind of shine. Lips depends on what I'm wearing, but my most-used right now is this lip pencil from Make Up For Ever that I'm using to line and fill in. After that I might use a bit of the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream over it to give it a sheen. My lips, but just kind of enhanced.
For body, Prtty Peaushun is my favorite—it gives definition, shine, and moisture, and the packaging is amazing. I love the smell too, but as far as scent, I use the Schmidt's deodorant and jasmine oil. I love the Schmidt’s... I’m very much a skeptic when it comes to natural deodorant and this is the shit. I buy it at the grocery store down the block from me. I haven’t found a perfume that I like yet, but the jasmine reminds me of Morocco, and I just love that."
