Happy (early) April Fool's! We didn't actually get Kylie's Top Shelf. But she loves beauty, and she's already said so much publicly about her makeup routine that we thought it'd be fun to piece together her #ITGTopShelfie from stuff she's already said. "Guys, this is Kylie (@kyliejenner) and I love beauty. When I was 16 I cut my hair off and dyed it blue, [which] I think set everything off. After that I just felt so free and wanted to experiment with my look. I thought I knew who I was and what I wanted to look like, but then once I did that, I was like, 'Whoa, there's a world of difference.' I just felt like I could be whoever I wanted to be, and I'm all about experimenting. I'm still so young, so I'm just having fun. I'm [also] always thinking about working. My main focus is my cosmetics line. I'm putting all my energy toward that and making it the best I can.

I’m always learning new things and getting advice from people. I do switch my regimen up a lot, I don’t stick with one product. Right now, I’m always exploring. But I always wash my face before I go to sleep, that’s a rule that never changes. It can really be hard to take it all off, so I need something that will do the job, but not irritate my skin. My go-to cleansing towelettes are from Neutrogena. They have so many different kinds there’s literally something for everybody—Night Calming, Deep Clean, Hydrating and Pink Grapefruit. It always feels really good to take it off and pamper my skin. I try to do a face mask a few times a week, whether it’s a sheet or a leave-on treatment—the Sephora Collection Rose Face Mask and Oh K! Intense Hydration Snail Mucin Mask are some of my faves.

I'm kind of into the Clarisonic. I heard that it didn’t work out for some people but I really like it and I feel like it’s better than washing your face with your hands. I [also] really like Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser, it just makes your face super fresh after. I put the Rare Earth Pore Refining Toner on a cotton ball and removes any excess. It minimizes pores and it’s just what's up. You just need to shake it before you use it but it’s pretty amazing. And then last I use the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydrating Lotion for dryer skin type because my skin is really dry. When my skin feels dry, I'll do a little bit the Kiehl's under my eyes. I don’t usually break out, but I have been lately. And I really fell in love with this Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. You’re not supposed to shake it, and the product is kind of all at the bottom, so I just take a Q-tip, stick it all the way down there, and just apply it to [my] blemish.

My favorite room is my Glam Room. I have a picture of my three older sisters in here all super-glammed up, hair and makeup, so they just inspire me when I get my makeup done. And then I have a quartz crystal in here for good energy. You’re supposed to put it in the highest peak of the room but I didn’t think it looked that good with my wigs. I'm a wig girl, I love wigs, and they're super easy. This is my green one that I wore for Sugar Factory that almost got snatched off my head. Good times. I wore a short blue one for a while. This one’s the blond one I wore for my birthday party. Last year at NYFW, I went blond, and loved the way it looked. When is better than Fashion Week? To get my hair this light, it took a couple of days working with Priscilla Valles but it was soo worth the wait.

I'm really in love with Jen Atkin's Ouai Treatment Mask. I just leave it in for 15 minutes before I shower. It's a really great way to make your hair healthy again, and really nourish it. I really love the Kardashian Beauty Hair Straightener [too] and I'm not just saying that because it's my sisters'. I didn’t even have it, all my hair stylists had it. Now, it's my go-to hair straighter and all my friends were obsessed.

Eyebrows are so important—my go-to is Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown. And I’m just gonna brush ‘em up. If you ever color it too dark, don’t fear, brush it through. I take the Two Faced Chocolate Bar to contour my eyes, and I take a little bit of the white and put it on the bridge of my brow. Then I curl my lashes to the Gods. The curler's from Sephora, I just liked it because it looked cute. [For mascara], I’ve been loyal to Lancome’s Hypnose forever. I used to be obsessed with their Star Mascara, but these days I’m all about drama. It gives you tons of volume and it doesn’t clump up at all. If you ever get mascara on your eyeshadow or anything let it dry completely because it’ll just flake off.

Makeup Forever Ultra HD and Buxom Show Some Skin are for my foundation. I’m gonna put them on top of a little surface to mix it on up. Two or three pumps [of each] and I'm going to blend it on my moisturized skin. I recommend going in front of your window, see what the daylight is like, and just make sure that it’s all good in the hood. I’m gonna use some of the Stila Bronzer—just a tiny bit. And I’m going to find the top of my ear and I’m just going to match it with where I should put a little bit of the bronzer. I also use some of the Chanel Tinted Powder that they unfortunately don't sell in LA anymore. I feel like you need to put different powders all over your face. This just sets since it has a little bit of color in it. I think the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow is really good. I use it on the edge of my nose—the more you do, the thinner your nose will look.

Charlotte Tilbury has bomb blushes. I'm going to do the Cheek to Chic Blush in Ecstasy on my cheeks. Super cute! It comes off really strong, if you’re not a blush person—I am—I wouldn’t recommend doing a lot. You’re supposed to 'swish' the outer shade on your cheekbone and 'pop' the center color on the apple of your cheek and blend the two. How cool is that? I'm going to use the Kylie Lip Kit Dolce on my lips. I usually still, to this day, overline my lips a lot. Then I’m gonna use Charlotte Tilbury Lip Magic Balm, just a little bit. It give it just the natural, ‘my lips are this color’ look. I use Urban Decay All Nighter [last]. Spray your face, so it stays all day and night. That’s it! That’s just the everyday glam. You look natural, you look cute.

You know who I'm obsessed with? I'm obsessed with Lady Gaga. I saw her at the Alexander Wang fashion show after-party, and I think she's the nicest person ever. She came up to me and was like, 'I think you're so amazing, and whatever you're doing, people are just obsessed with it,'and she basically told me to not change. And I feel like that really helped me, because there's a reason why I have so many followers and why people pay so much attention to me. So I just try not to change and stay authentic. I do feel pressure when I do sexy photo shoots and stuff, or if I want to post a picture... I don't know. I want to be a good role model, but I also want to be me."
