"Hi! My name is Eleanor Dungan (@eleaaaaanor) and I live in Boston, where I'm a student at Suffolk University and a barista at Starbucks. I'm originally from Nebraska, where big hair and pageant makeup is worn as an everyday 'look' with Huskers t-shirts and track pants.

But my mom grew up on the East Coast and was a hippie, so she brought me up with a 'less-is-easier' approach to hair and makeup. I never really learned to do anything other than wash my face, air dry my hair, and apply SPF—until a couple of years ago when I started reading Into The Gloss and discovered Christine Nguyen on Youtube. With those as my sole resources, I began my introduction to true skincare and makeup application.

I recently moved in with my long-term boyfriend, so my routine has been a little messed up as I learn how to get used to living with a S.O., but normally my day starts with a lukewarm shower and some Patsy Cline playing from my phone. I have pin straight hair prone to go greasy 12 hours after being washed, so with the blessing of my hair dresser, I wash my hair every day with Head and Shoulders Oil Control. I usually wash and rinse it twice, then put some Mane 'n Tail Deep Moisturizing Conditioner onto my ends and leave it in until I'm about to hop out. I also brush my teeth in the shower, because why not?

After I brush my teeth, I wash my body with Aesop's A Rose By Any Other Name Body Cleanser and an organic sea sponge. I love its subtle rosy sent, and the formula leaves my skin soft and clean, but not squeaky clean, you know what I mean? I don't feel stripped, just cleansed. When I'm finished, I apply Nivea Extended Moisture Body Lotion from the tops of my feet up to my chin. Best lotion EVER. One of the reasons my boyfriend liked me in the beginning was because of how soft my skin felt and it was all thanks to Nivea.

My face wash is Glossier's Milky Jelly—no other cleanser has made my skin look and feel more flawless than that has. It's literally witchcraft. Then I exfoliate with First Aid Beauty's Facial Radiance Pads which you can use daily, so I do. I also notice a huge difference in the appearance of my skin when I skip this step, so it's definitely pulling its own weight. Then, thanks to Christine and her expert advice, I use three drops of Origins Original Skin Essence. This cleared me of the hormonal chin acne I've had since I turned 21. Seriously—my skin hasn't had a single blemish since I started using this. Staying on the Origins fan train, I use the Original Skin Retexturizing Mask and on two other days a week I use the Dermalogica Sebum Clearing Masque followed up with the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask.

After letting the essence soak in, I use Glossier's Priming Moisturizer. I don't normally wear any makeup since my skincare routine has really made my skin look so good that I don't feel I need it. But I just started my job at Starbucks, and wanting to look as put together as possible, I've gotten back into doing it. I wear Perfecting Skin Tint in the shade Light—because I'm Irish. I like applying coverage with my fingers and applying it just like you would a moisturizer. After that I draw a line of Clinique's Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour under my cheek bone where there already is a bit of a shadow, but this just deepens it and makes me look a bit more Caroline de Maigret. Then I brush on some Tarte Bronzer to add a little more depth, rubbing it in with clean hands so it really warms into my skin.

I never do any eye makeup. I wear glasses, have a septum piercing, and have a ton of tattoos on my arms, so I feel like shadow and liner is a little too distracting. Sometimes I'll do a red lip with Chanel Rouge Coco because I love the combination of a bare eye with a bold lip. I'm dying to try Serge Lutens Water Lip Color in Terre d'Ombres because ITG says I have to and I agree that it may be the perfect fall lip color. As for hair styling, I just let air dry behind my ears. And that's it!"
