The festival continues! At least on Into The Gloss (and maybe your various social feeds), because model Teresa Oman sent us a postcard from last weekend's Governors Ball. Thought we'd share:
What a weekend! My legs still ache from the three days of non-stop dancing. We began on Friday by sparkling ourselves up while waiting for the ferry to Randall's Island. Luckily, I had walked past a magical store somewhere on my way there that provided enough glitter and stickers for the whole weekend. Aussie brand Lucas' Papaw Ointment always helps the sparkles stick and feels nice on the skin.
On Friday, we indulged in delicious margaritas, posed in photo booths, and danced among thousands of others to the sweet songs of Drake. Then on Saturday, we were serenaded by the incredible Björk and her sounds of the Earth. She most definitely won best dressed of the weekend. Brilliant fellow aussies Tame Impala are always a must-see. They definitely got us in our boogie shoes. But the 4pm sun and what felt like endless waiting until the next act took its toll. Sunscreen is absolutely vital at these sorts of festivities! It's easy to forget about how strong the sun is when you’re having so much fun. Best thing to do if you have long hair like I do is to throw in some in braids. You'll be so thankful for it later when you’re not brushing your hair for an hour!
