Not that being the very gorgeous Lu Ping should ever be considered a problem, but when it comes time for picking one cohesive look to feature on the site, things can get tricky. Add a killer outfit on top of that and it becomes nearly impossible to take a bad picture—much less pick only a few to showcase here. But alas, the job must be done.

First, she tried a smoky eye and a poppy lip with Boots No. 7 Stay Perfect Shade and Define in Black Shimmer and Burberry's new creamy mousse pot called Lip & Cheek Bloom in Poppy, which are both so easy to apply, even the least agile of makeup users can feign expertise. Even Lu Ping, who side-eyeing the shadow stick hardcore before applying it, copped to how easy it was to do a halfway-decent job without trying.

Then she did one Model's Choice look—it only seemed fair. Wiping off the eye makeup, she switched to a vampy Giorgio Armani lipstick (Rouge Ecstasy in 204 Caffe) and headed out to the deck. Maybe dark lipstick seems counterintuitive once the sun is finally out and bare ankles are feasible again, but these photos beg to differ. If anything, the sun just makes it easier to see the grape undertones at work.

After the fact, we figured, why not put both looks up for your viewing pleasure? Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing—this just doesn't happen to be one of those times.
