There's a school of thought that dictates “Winter White' be a less-than-bright, cream-ish shade. I'm not here to refute that—but let's be more open-minded. Why can't winter white be any white you feel like wearing, while it happens to be winter outside? Because there are no rules anymore! Zara Coat: Cuddle up to something oversized, Isabel Marant-esque, and comforter-like. You likely have to leave the house at least five days a week, so keep calm, and blanket coat on.
Erickson Beamon Pearly Queen Earring: Here, friends, the ear cuff grows up and sheds its festival reputation.
Alexander Wang Peel Away Mesh Jumper: All the comfort of a fisherman sweater with the added bonus of edgy mesh racing stripes. Great for ventilation.
Rag & Bone Floppy Brim Wool Hat: Less intense than those black floppy hats everybody has, and, etiquette note: you can wear it all day.
Courtshop High Waist Jean: Wear these before, during, and after Labor Day. Extra credit for being bold enough to add black ankle boots.
