Solange Knowles can do no wrong. Even when she wore a marigold pant, top, and open dress ensemble at Art Basel, she looked totally at-ease and perfect. Definitely not like I did when I was a child and decided to wear my entire closet in one go. The sharp tailored pant and tube top keep the look casual, while hints of skin (see: ankles, stomach, and shoulders) prevent the dramatic train from entering stuffy or formal territory. What you end up with is something that can easily go from beach to black tie without so much as changing her shoes. So perhaps the key to having it all (keeping in mind her recent career renaissance and nuptials to Alan Ferguson) is by wearing it all.
