Of course you’ve heard the phrase “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” The old librarian at your elementary school probably told you that while trying to convince you to check out something besides Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. But this truth applies to much more than books, and sometimes a product will make its way through our door and earn an instant smile even before being tested. The new Pierre Hardy for Nars collection did just that. Nail polishes in mini shoe bags and boxes...Come on!
Following winter’s Andy Warhol line, Nars' new collab with the French shoe designer resulted in two blushes and six sets of nail polishes—in color duos with names like Ethno Run and Sharks… and Vertebra and Easy Walking. But the packaging! Inspired by the designer’s own shoe boxes, each set of nail polishes comes in a little white box, the bottles facing opposite directions (to allow for heel-to-toe fitting, obvs!), and a little dust bag perfect for traveling. Now, to master one of Hardy’s famous geometric prints on our nails…
