We're pretty picky about our body wash. Too citrus-y, too floral, too sweet, and you can end up smelling like Toddlers & Tiaras star in no time; anything in the “cucumber-melon' family smells sort of like bathroom deodorizer or bad teen memories. Some makes are too milky, some are just too masculine to blend well with everything else you're layering on top of it—whether that be body balm, oils, what have you. The goal is a product that's pleasant, unobtrusive, and you know, pretty without the “pretty little princess' part. That's where Swedish brand Sachajuan (which, admittedly, we are still kind of unsure how to pronounce—Nick keeps calling it “Saskatchewan ') and their Spicy Citrus Body Wash comes in. The bottle is perfectly no-frills (and kind of beautiful), showcasing the amethyst-colored liquid, which smells like grapefruit, coriander, and jasmine. And it makes for a good, clean feeling that won't have you leaving the shower awkwardly over-perfumed. Lather on up.
