Butter London's collab with everyone's favorite rap enthusiast/lifestyle guru/actress Gwyneth Paltrow has resulted in a ' trifecta of bespoke lacquers' (carcinogen-free!) in three goop-tastic shades: Hampstead Heath (a deep algae green with a charcoal-y gold shimmer), Bread & Butter Pudding (an almost transparent nude), and Abso-bloody-lutely (a deep opaque cherry red), all of which feel very autumnal, and more than a little holiday- (/-gifting) appropriate. Though you generally can’t picture a girl's polish tastes running the gamut from a barely-there nude to deep burgundy and a mossy shimmer, somehow we buy it, coming from the brain of G.P.—she is nothing if not multi-dimensional.

A quick cruise through IMDB revealed some polish/Paltrow character crossover: Abso-bloody-lutely seems the perfect choice for Margot Tenenbaum's toes (remember this scene?), while Bread & Butter Pudding would be the natural pick for the effortless ex-pat Marge Sherwood (_ The Talented Mister Ripley). As for the subtly shiny _Hamsptead Heath? W e’re torn between Gwyneth's turn as Pepper Potts in the Iron Man franchise and her ill-fated crooner Kelly Canter (from Country Strong), since the sparkles would compliment Canter's boatload of sequins. But honestly, you can't really go wrong with any of the shades. Deborah Lippmann, Essie Weingarten: you've been warned.
