It's Halloween panic time: You've got a few short days to order your wigs, your leotards, and your hamburgler suits. Or, you could not panic, because next Tuesday's festivities are as good an excuse as any to blatantly cop ITG's longtime style icon. Snag a basket (or a Birkin bag, if you’re able), find a slick and swarthy friend to play your Serge and get ready to croon 'Je t’aime, moi non plus' all night long. Get France's favorite English girl's evergreen look:

Start with Madewell's Flea Market Flares paired with a Totême poplin shirt (buttoned low) or this tee from Liana. Top with a shaggy, late-'60s-style vest, and pair with a Repetto flat. No bangs? No problem! Grab some scissors and watch this video.

For the Birkin makeup look, the key is to keep your face fresh. After moisturizing, blend Dior's Nude Air foundation over the skin, using Nars Soft Matte Concealer where necessary (under eyes, the sides of your nose) and contouring with Burberry's Face Contour Pens. Fluff up your brows using Glossier Boy Brow and use a light hand all over your eyelids with Laura Mercier's Caviar Stick Eye Color in Cocoa, drawing a soft line across the crease. Line all around your eye, but with special attention to the lower lashline, adding Bobbi Brown's Smokey Eye Kajal Liner for some extra definition. Top with Japonesque Lashes (or Too Faced Better Than False Lashes, if you’re not a particularly steady hand). Glaze on Tom Ford's Isla Boys & Girls Lipstick for a peachy glow, smooth some Bumble & bumble Brilliantine through your long hair, and put a record on. You're ready! Now, where's Serge..?
