Aline Weber (Next) didn't do couture — she's more of an Isabel Marant kind of girl — but that doesn't mean she can't appreciate the makeup. When she swung by ITG's studio the day before she headed to her Brazilian hometown for summer break, she admired the Dior couture inspiration pictures I had pinned up — the elaborate, slightly retro, slightly sci-fi eye and lip color-combos Pat McGrath dreamt up for Raf Simons inaugural outing for the French house — and admitted that she, herself, prefers an “eye' over a “lip.”

Perfect, because, taking a cue from Pat, I'm putting a color meant for lips on the eyes... a pink stripe is the new cat eye. Add a hit of silver on the lower lash line et voilà: Dior couture made easy.
