July ’26, Wrapped

Into The Gloss

When you work in beauty, you spend hours talking about products: how they smell, how they feel, whether someone stopped you on the street to ask what you’re wearing. But the most interesting conversations are about the ones you loved enough to break a pair of scissors trying to get the last drop (guilty). Welcome to ITG Wrapped, where Glossier HQ—and a few special additions—share the empties so good we shook, scraped, and cut open for more.

A Light-As-Air Body SPF

Dune Body Guard SPF 30
Used by Daise Bedolla, Into The Gloss
“There’s no shortage of sunscreen options anymore, but Dune’s is the only one I want to wear lately. I just can’t deal with oily or too-creamy formulas, or aerosols that end up spraying my couch, anymore. This one feels like applying a very light liquid moisturizer, which makes sense since the brand promises 72 hours of hydration. I can’t speak to that claim because I dutifully rinse it off in the shower before hopping into bed every night, but my legs look noticeably more moisturized during the day. It also dries down quickly without making me (or my clothes) feel sticky or smelling fakely tropical. It even feels slightly refreshing for a few seconds, which makes reapplication all the more enjoyable—and that’s why a bottle lives in my purse.”

The Do-Anything Purple Pigment

Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed
Used by Rebecca Jarrett, Social at ShopMy
“In the pan, Grape Soda is an intimidating, saturated, almost eggplant purple that looks like it should be reserved for a full-glam day. Surprisingly, it’s become my most versatile summer product. Most days, I tap it over a glowy mineral sunscreen and wear nothing else. The formula is lightweight and creamy, incredibly easy to blend, and buildable enough that the pigment never feels overwhelming. On my complexion, the richness of the shade gives it an almost bronzing depth, while the pinky-mauve-purple tone adds brightness and fun. It somehow makes my face look more sculpted and more awake at the same time.”

The Bushy Brow Tamer

Glossier Boy Brow
Used by Georgia Weeks, Influencer at Glossier
“Boy Brow is the first brow product I ever used (I’m very glad to have skipped the awkward cut-crease brow years in my youth), and while I’ve tried others since, nothing compares for me. I have notoriously big, bushy brows, so I really need something that will help hold them in place, and this is it. I’ve gone through four tubes in the last year alone. I like to start with Dark Brown to give my brows more definition, and then I lay them down with Clear. The gel lasts through the day, so I never need to worry about having a hair out of place.”

The Shave-Friendly Body Wash

Cyklar Sacred Santal Body Wash
Used by Isabella Patitucci, Glossier PR/Comms
“I’ve been trying to elevate my body care routine, especially during the summer, and adding this body wash has made me and my shower lineup feel so luxe. I love that it’s infused with oils and always leaves my skin feeling moisturized and soft. I’ll sometimes even use it to shave if I’m feeling lazy. And then there’s the scent: woody and warm; subtle but addicting.”

The Makeup Prep Hero

Skinbetter Trio Rebalancing Moisture Treatment
Used by Shayna Goldberg, Makeup Artist
“I’ve noticed the biggest difference in my skin’s texture when I apply makeup after this treatment—it feels bouncy and smooth without any evidence of the product sitting on top. While the formula is a lightweight emulsion, it packs a punch when it comes to barrier support. My skin personally loves urea, and the combination of hyaluronic acid, ceramides, glycerin, and caffeine works beautifully together. It’s also unscented, and a little goes a long way, making it a perfect find to keep in my kit for work. I find it works best on clean skin, or after giving my other serums a second to absorb. The result is subtle but very noticeable—my skin just looks better.”

The MUA-Approved Foundation

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Used by Lara Adekola, Social at Glossier
“There are foundations I like, and then there are foundations I actually finish. Luminous Silk belongs firmly in the second category. It gives me that my-skin-but-better effect—it never looks like I’m wearing foundation, just like I woke up with an impossibly even complexion. I wear shade 14, and the undertone is perfect. As someone with a deeper complexion, I’ve tried too many foundations that pull too red or too golden, but this one is the ideal neutral. The biggest flex? Makeup artists always want to know what’s on my skin. That’s about as good an endorsement as it gets.”

For The ‘My Face Eats Blush’ Community

Victoria Beckham Beauty Colour Wash
Used by Ashley Weatherford, Content at Glossier
“Victoria’s losing a few points for designing a product this fussy to apply, but she makes up for it tenfold with the finish. Colour Wash in Flushed has been my absolute go-to all summer long. Even in our current blush boom this is a clear standout, delivering the kind of natural flush I only get post-gym, fighting through a veil of sweat. Because it dries stupid-fast, I add a few drops to my blush brush and swipe on, instead of applying it directly to my skin. And there it stays All. Day. Long. This tiny tint is huge for the ‘my face eats blush’ community. No transfer, no fading, and only leaves when my balm cleanser kicks it out. It scratches my Benefit itch that I thought I grew out of. Turns out it just grew up.”

The Ghost of Crème Bouquet

Frisson D’Hiver by Serviette
Used by Daise Bedolla, Into The Gloss
“Its name might literally mean ‘winter shiver’ in French, but I’ve been wearing Frisson D’Hiver all summer. Bergamot, orange blossom, labdanum, vanilla—it has so many of the notes I’m naturally drawn to. But it also includes my current hyper-fixation: fresh, delicate, and sometimes soapy lily of the valley.

When I shared it with fellow lily-of-the-valley lover Elizabeth Grace Hand, the founder of Ställe Studios, she looked like she had seen a ghost—and in some ways, she smelled one. She’s been chasing Stila’s long-discontinued Crème Bouquet for years, often purchasing expired bottles ‘for a bajillion dollars’ on eBay. Frisson D’Hiver is the more mature, less sweet version of Stila’s, so those risky purchases are a thing of the past.”

The Body Bar That Means Business

Soft Services Green Banana Buffing Bar
Used by Georgia Weeks, Influencer at Glossier
“I discovered these exfoliating body bars through Glossier’s #AskITG Slack channel, and my skin is so thankful. It’s a very rough exfoliant, but beauty is pain, right? Right?? To be clear, they’ve never hurt that much, and besides, they’ve really helped my keratosis pilaris bumps and unfailingly leave my skin smooth during bikini season. The bright, botanical green banana scent is a plus and makes my bathroom smell like a fresh jungle oasis.”

The Mineral Sunscreen With a 15-Bottle Track Record

Kinship Self Reflect SPF 32
Used by Hannah Davis, Marketing at Glossier
“My dry, sensitive skin prefers mineral sunscreens, and Kinship’s is perfect. Any semblance of a white cast disappears into my skin almost immediately, leaving me both moisturized and super dewy. It also layers well with my other skincare products and works beautifully as a makeup base. I’ve even used it as an overnight moisturizer in a pinch. I’ve probably gone through 15 bottles over the past five years. Even when I was working at a competing sunscreen brand, I bought and wore Kinship daily—that’s the biggest stamp of approval here.”

The Garden-In-A-Bottle

Nonfiction Gaiac Flower Body Wash
Used by Ali Perkins, Glossier Education
“I’m not one to buy a fragrance blind, but when I tried this scent in hand soap form at Rhythm Zero, I went to the brand’s site and bought every format of Gaiac Flower they had in stock. Of the EDP, body wash, and hand cream, I have to give it to the body wash. It’s a solid body wash—frothy, shave-approved, non-drying, and comfy on the skin. But it’s really the scent that explains why my bottle is currently balanced on its cap in my shower—no drop will go to waste. It always stays on my skin post-shower and even leaves my bathroom smelling good. The fragrance itself reminds me of hanging clean sheets outside in a garden full of roses. I can’t get enough.”

The French Pharmacy Multi-Tasker

Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré
Used by Ariela Rose, Glossier gTEAM
“Whenever I’m lucky enough to find myself in Paris, stepping into as many pharmacies as possible is at the top of my agenda. During my most recent trip, my friend pointed out this cream when we stopped at a pharmacy for her medication. She’s gone through multiple tubes and recommended it to her daughter, her son’s girlfriend, and friends of friends. I picked up a small tube, and two months later, I’m squeezing out the last drop. It’s lightweight yet moisturizing, smooth, and versatile—I use it as a primer, daily moisturizer, makeup remover, mask, and even body moisturizer when traveling. I’m planning on buying another one, and I’m happy it’s available at my local Brooklyn pharmacy—no Paris trip necessary (but always welcome).”

The Under-The-Radar Skin Tint

Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Tint
Used by Ashley Weatherford, Content at Glossier
“Did I say we’re in a blush boom now? Well we’re scaling a skin tint rise, too. This summer it brought me Lisa Eldridrige’s version, which is a melty, sink-into-your-face goop that leaves behind skin that looks like skin, just having a better day. I can’t ‘feel’ it on my face, which made it my go-to on even the hottest days. It’s slightly moisturizing, finishes natural, and wears the way it applies—even with no patchiness or high shine creeping in by hour eight. I can’t wait to see how it performs in the colder months. I’m picturing it right now: me in a 3-gauge sweater and a healthy, even-toned, seemingly bare face. My skin tint the under-the-radar hero of the whole look.”
