"Hey, I'm Charlotte Beecham (@charlottesimone). I live in London, UK where I have an accessories brand. I'm also obsessed with beauty—I started experimenting when I was about nine. My mum had an amazing stash of skincare which I would love to test and smell. I particularly loved a cherry flavoured lip balm. Not too dissimilar to the Glossier Cherry Balm Dotcom, actually. Now that I'm always running around the city, I keep a stash of skincare at my desk as London can be a bit gross at times… still, I love to walk, I find it really helps clear my head. My sausage dog Harold and I are lucky that London has lots of beautiful parks.
OK, so Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser is my BFF. It removes my make up in a second. Smells like rose and leaves my face properly clean and refreshed. Two pumps are enough for my whole face—I massage for 30 seconds and rinse off. Then, I love Sisley Hydra Global Moisturizer—it's one of my must have products. I swear you feel it feeding your skin. It smells clean, not fragrant. I use it every day. It's a lightweight cream/gel texture and—something very important to me—it's matte. It's hydrating but doesn't leave you feeling greasy afterwards. Twice a week I like to use Sisley Black Rose Oil, which is a light, cool and non-greasy oil. I'll just apply three or four drops in the morning on my face and neck. It leaves your face feeling toned and smooth.
I love taking the time do a mask once a week—both for my skin and my sanity. I love the Estée Lauder Night Repair Silver Foil Mask. If you're after an instant fresh glow, this literally locks in all the moisture. My favourite is washing my face and applying during long flights. I travel a lot for my business and hate how long-haul flights can really dry out your skin. These face masks are a savior.
By Terry Tinted Moisturizer is my favourite bronzing gel and I use it as my main makeup base. I always found foundation too thick for my skin and don't feel comfortable wearing it, so this is perfect for me as it looks really natural. It really adapts to your skintone and leaves it golden and luminous. After that, I swipe some Glossier Haloscope on my cheekbones and Clinique Chubby Mascara.
My hair care routine revolves around Kerastase. I love leaving a hair mask on after work one day and watching the magic happen. I'll put a thick layer on and leave it for a good hour. The results are mega!
Everyone knows this but here's a friendly reminder... stay hydrated! I drink loads of water, it's the best skin saver. Similarly, sleep is a healer and can immediately brighten your skin. I set reminders to get to bed early and limit my usage on my phone late at night because it helps me get a better night's rest."
