'My name is Bruna Malucelli [@bruna _malucelli]. I'm from Curitiba, Brazil, and I'm a fashion designer and founder of my own swimwear label, Bruna Malucelli. Going to the beach is big in Brazil—obviously. It fits in naturally with my work and personal life. While I stay fit by sticking to a routine of The Tracy Anderson Method and Ballet Beautiful exercises at home, I never tan. Working out is worth it, sun damage is not. I use St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse or any of Jergens' self-tanning lotions because they don’t make me look orange. It’s tragic to see orange people at the beach.

I started experimenting with beauty only recently. I didn't know how to put on mascara when I was a teenager, and none of the women in my family were very into beauty. I had to figure it all out by myself. I basically learned everything about my routine online—especially with Dia De Beauté, a beauty blog from Vogue Brasil's beauty editor Victoria Ceridono.

I am completely enamored with the idea of a glowing, beautiful complexion. And by this I don’t mean tons of foundation to make your skin look 'perfect,' but rather a naturally radiant complexion. I think true luxury is being able to have great skin, so you can use minimal coverage. I don’t like heavy makeup at all. My favorite thing to do day-to-day is simple—mix a little Benefit High Beam with Embryolisse and put it all over my face. It gives me that incredible glow without having to buy another product. Sometimes I just use that alone, other times it acts as a luminizing base for MAC Face and Body Foundation, which I use for the day, or Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup SPF 15 at night. Armani's foundations really make your skin look like silk.

My favorite makeup brand is Nars, though. The best red lipstick ever is Nars' Pure Matte Lipstick in Mascate. It took me years to find my favorite red, but once you do, everything else becomes so simple. I don’t need 10 shades of similar reds in my makeup drawer. I know it’s hard—especially when there are so many choices—but I really think it's important to streamline. MAC's Plumful is a great pinky-purply color that's actually very under-the-radar and won't stand out too much from anything else I've got going on. It looks good on everyone.

At the moment, I am very into the Korean beauty routine—who isn’t? My boyfriend just brought back Laneige's Water Sleeping Mask from a recent trip to Asia. It’s a super-rich sleeping mask that provides deep hydration through the night. It’s been really cold here—I live in the south of Brazil—so it’s great for winter. It also smells great and goes on colorless. I also started double-cleansing. Recently I discovered Tatcha, and I love their concept and packaging. The product is great, too. First, I use Tatcha's Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil and then Jurlique's Replenishing Foaming Cleanser. It’s great because it won’t leave any trace of makeup on your face. The best thing to remove heavy eye makeup is Johnson’s Baby Oil or Johnson’s Baby Shampoo. It’s a lifesaver and won’t irritate your eyes. And before a hot shower, my trick is to put on a ton of RMS Beauty Raw Coconut Cream. It keeps your skin from dehydrating.

For hair, there's nothing as great as a The Original Tangle Teezer. I have very fine, hard-to-manage hair, and I know it really works.

I'm also very eco-conscious as a person. I won't buy a new mascara, lipstick, or foundation until the one I have is already used up. I believe it's our duty to our planet to make responsible decisions and not add to the waste. Each day, I believe more and more that we should be buying products more consciously and responsibly than the day before.”
