Update: The Glossier Summer Showroom is now closed. We don't have any current plans for another pop-up, but when we do, you'll be the first to know about it. In the meantime, you can shop these products (and everything we've launched since) on Glossier.com with free returns.
Got any Summer Fridays coming up? You know, when you get to start the weekend at noon instead of 6pm? If so, we'd love to have you stop by the office and shop Glossier in person. That'd probably be pretty fun, we think. So consider this your formal invitation to the Glossier Summer Fridays Showroom.
A little more info: Starting today, anyone who's in the New York City area on a Friday from now until Sept. 11 can pop into the ITG/Glossier penthouse and kick back for a while (as in between 11am and 6pm). Inspired in no small part by the recent launch of our vacation-scented Coconut Balm Dotcom, there'll be a relaxation space/immersive art installation as imagined by artist Grace Villamil (really, she's the epitome of chill—you'll meet her on ITG soon). Think of it as a sort of a meditation room where you can escape your phone for a few minutes—you can even leave it in a charging station outside. The floor is essentially this big mattress and there are bean bag chairs and soothing, roaming lights...we've already been holding meetings in it when you guys aren't around.
Big ups go to Marguerite Wade, set designer extraordinaire and the creative force behind both this Showroom and the Glossier Pop-Up from last fall. In that vein, hearty congrats are also in order for Creative Director Helen Steed and Designer Dilan Walpola, who literally climbed into the rafters several times to make this all happen. And, as always, many thanks to resident Gloffice florist Marisa Competello for her typically excellent arrangements.
And no worries if you can't make it today. We'll be here every Friday from now until the end of summer. Special guest stars will also be making appearances, so sign up here for updates on that. Oh, and our address is:
123 Lafayette Street (between Howard and Canal)
Penthouse
New York, NY
10013
Can't wait to see you!
