The easiest thing in the world is to get bogged down by a pimple. You try to relax; it just gets worst. You attempt a subtle concealer job; it only gets more noticeable. So perhaps we're all looking at it the wrong way. A pimple, say, near your upper lip isn't a flaw that needs fixing so much as a momentary mark, bringing you closer to a certain supermodel. Mijo Mihaljcic elaborates:
'I love Cindy Crawford. The first time I saw her, I was very young. I remember her shooting a Got Milk? campaign and when I would eat yogurt, I would look at my mom and say, 'Mom, I’m Cindy Crawford!' Sometimes I’d take my mom’s eyeliner and make a birthmark near my lip to pretend I’m her a bit. Right now, I have this spot and I put some cream concealer over it and I thought I kind of looked like her beauty mark. That’s how I feel right now—I’m not going to say I have a pimple, I’ll just say I’m Cindy today.''
And since it's finally November, can we all agree that holiday makeup collections give some much needed incentive to bring bold makeup back into the fold? Sparkles on the the eyes and a deep red lip never looked so good.
