'I like to go dancing, maybe once every other week. My boyfriend works in event planning, so I'll go as his date. But these days, I prefer to do dinners—I used to go out a lot more when I lived in Chelsea, since it was convenient. But I'm just not really a party girl. And so many of the clubs have the same DJs, who play the same music. It makes me so annoyed!
I've been modeling in New York for three years. When I was really young, I did a lot of high fashion, but recently I've been working with Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated, which is the dream. My shoots are sexier now. I thought it was going to be a crazier transition, but it's been really fun. Sometimes I feel like people don't really know who I am. And then somebody will stop me on the street and say, 'Oh, I saw you at the club the other night.' And I'm like, 'Ooops!'
GETTING READY
After work, I like to just go home and take off my makeup with Bioderma. They use such heavy eye shadows and mascaras on shoots, and I don't like to keep it on very long if I don't have to. Then I like to order food—my favorite is Mexican takeout from Mad Dog & Beans. Right now, I'm trying to be healthier because I have a casting in four weeks so instead of takeout, I'll make chicken and vegetables. But I really love unhealthy food. Candy, chips, chocolate, everything…Sometimes my boyfriend and I will go to Shake Shack before we go out to a movie or something. So good.
STYLE
My go-to club outfit is high-waisted jeans, usually with heels. If it's glam, I'll rent something from Albright Fashion Library in Cooper Square. They have everything. And it's nice because so much of this stuff, you wear twice and then it just hangs in your closet. I'll get something really classy—I don't do short and tight if I can help it.
BODY
In the winter, before I go to an event, I like to use St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. It's almost like a mousse that you do yourself. You don't get any stripes, unless you don't do it right. I only use it if I have a red carpet event, and mostly in the winter when I'm not naturally tan.
HAIR
My hair is really thin and kinda short, but I like to clip just a couple of pieces in there that are the same length and then I put my own hair on top of it. It looks really real. But they're starting to be too light for me—I have to color them.
I also take a lot of vitamins for my hair. There's Ester-C and Fish Oil, and I also take Viviscal twice a day for my hair. It really makes your hair and your nails grow much faster, thicker, and stronger.
When my hair is still wet from the shower, I use Je Veux Cheveux Argan Oil. My hair is super soft, but my ends are really dry from work and stuff so this really helps. I wash my hair, like, every day, even though I shouldn't. I don't shampoo every day, but I'll use conditioner because otherwise I can't comb it.
MAKEUP
My going-out look is mostly the same as my everyday look—I'll do some heavier eye makeup though. You can get away with more when it's dark outside.
I know every single model hates MAC Face and Body Foundation or are allergic to it, but I'm not and I think it's really good. I only use a little bit because it's really thin and doesn't cover up my skin—it just evens me out a little. If I'm going out, I like to look really tan. I use MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC45 as bronzer—just a tiny bit on the cheeks and on the neck a little because I feel like my neck is always pale for some reason. When I'm super pale, Dior Bronze, which is a self-tanner just for your face. I used to use it a lot but it's super expensive. I like shiny skin so I dust MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle on the apples. It makes you look more glowing. And YSL Touche Éclat #2.5 for underneath the eyes of course.
My eye makeup is always brown, never anything crazy. I have the MAC Lip Pencil in Stone for my eyelids and blend it all the way with my fingers. Then I'll put MAC Eyeshadow in Coquette on top. For a more intense eye, I use the MAC Technakohl Eyeliner in Graphblack, but only on the top lids. Sometimes I'll do the waterline with it, but it depends on how I'm feeling that day. If I don't use a black eyeliner on the inside, I like to use Nars Larger Than Life Longwear Eyeliner in Santa Monica Blvd. because it makes your eyes look bigger. I just do it on the inner corners.
Covergirl Mascara Lash Blast Volume is the cheapest mascara and it's so good. It's the applicator and the formula. It's really thin—I like it because it's not really thick. It's brown, not black. I don't like super heavy mascara. I'll just do it on my outside lashes on my top lids.
Lips I keep pretty simple in subtle nude colors, like MAC Lipstick in Myth. I usually use that and Chapstick from Duane Reade. Nothing fancy! Flavored Lip Scrub from Victoria's Secret is really good. You just grab something and scrub your lips to get the dead skin off your lips, and this one tastes really good too, it's like sugar. Once in a while if I'm wearing all black and I have my hair down sometimes, I like to wear MAC Ruby Woo, like everyone does. I think it's best with my skin tone. I have so much MAC...they should sponsor me!
AT THE END OF THE NIGHT
When I get home, I take my makeup off, put my hair up, pajamas on, and sit on the couch. I never go to bed right away. Even if I'm out late. I always watch TV, like Breaking Bad, which I only started a month ago. I love New Girl, Revenge, Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City, or I'll watch movies on Netflix.
Oh, and I have a deep fryer. So I'll break that out.”
