If summer is about turning the hell that is an August subway ride into naturally dewy glow, then fall is the season of desperately trying to preserve that glow—and celebrating freckles before they fade. Which is why foundation can (and should) be kept far away from skin like Magdalena's. A little contouring with a taupe-y blush and some highlight under the brows and on top of the cheek bones (or literally everywhere if you're lucky enough to be working with Burberry's Fresh Glow, which is the current office favorite: a lightweight soft shimmer gel/cream that's so so subtle but awesomely effective) is all that's necessary.
