_“There is something very special about spring flowers,” says Aerin Lauder, granddaughter to Estée and a burgeoning beauty icon in her own right. “As fast as they bloom, they disappear,” We get you, Ms. Lauder—real blooms are gorgeous, but they won't last forever. So, in lieu of carrying a flower-market's-worth of plants around with you all the time, we suggest spritzing on a scent inspired by the garden. And Lauder, it turns out, is making some of the best floral fragrances around: Lilac Path, an updated '50s gardenia-lilac accord that smells like what a Dior model would have worn to show off New Look dresses in Monsieur Dior's atelier; Ikat Jasmine, the perfume equivalent of a jasmine arbor conveniently located next to an orange grove; and Amber Musk, a warm skin scent with the faintest touch of lingering rose—soft, but just enough to get you noticed. (The stone-topped bottles are also nothing to...sniff at. Had to. Sorry.)

AERIN's fragrances, which now have their very own interactive website, also provided an excellent excuse to have a little fun with flower arranging. We love flower arranging. So we called upon Brooklyn-based florist Ariel Dearie to translate the scents—and their various notes, from gardenia and eucalyptus to jasmine and citrus branches—into real-world bouquets, which you can create yourself, or, you know, print out and tape up where a vase might go. Just spray the print-out with some Amber Musk _and get super close—it's almost like the real thing.
