The latest product to hop on the handmade-in-Brooklyn bandwagon? Bath salts, specifically Royal Botanicals' Bath Soak. Produced in super small batches, the organic essential-oil and salt combinations were dreamt up by fashion-vetted florist Ariel Dearie (of Ariel Dearie Flowers) and come in three aromatherapeutic scents: Rose Geranium (which smells like, yes, roses), Vetiver (the intersection of fresh-cut grass and tobacco), and Original (a sweet and earthy blend of ylang ylang, bergamot, and spruce). Each amber glass vessel is outfitted with a fun fact about its ingredients (e.g., “Legend has it that Columbus traveled with bergamot trees to ward off evil and protect from danger”), and would spruce up any shelf in your studio apartment/tree house/brownstone/etc, not to mention your tub. Tom Ford, we're starting to get you on this four-baths-a-day thing—but cool water, please.
