We make no bones about how we feel about Self Service magazine, but Lara Stone's Alasdair McLellan-lensed spread, replete with clean-looking hair and just-the-right-amount-of-insouciant-tousle (courtesy of Anthony Turner), glowy, barely contoured skin, and a bad-girl smoky eye (by Lucia Pica) has us scrambling for our kohl pencils. A little heavy for daytime, maybe, but who's counting? A severe eye never looked so wearable (the clothes don't hurt, either). Lara's got this whole Brigitte Bardot stole your motorcycle and came back the next morning and is such a babe you're not even mad about it thing down pat.
Our advice? Take up with Tarte's Inner Rim Brightener to maximize your luminosity before wantonly smudging black eyeliner along your upper and lower lashlines (we like either Lancôme Le Crayon Kohl or Nars Soft Touch Shadow pencil in Empire, depending on your width preference). Top with dabs of Make Up For Ever Aqua Black Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow and blend, baby, blend (buff it up into the crease of your eyelid). Add a little highlighter in the inner corners of your eyes for good measure before topping off with mascara. And then? Vroooom.
