Last night at Jeremy Scott’s afterparty at Le Bain, in between bites of Nutella crepes (a rather unusual—but very welcome—nightclub offering), we were greeted by a tall, midriff-baring stranger with a Mia Farrow (and/or Rihanna-esque) pixie-cut. “Hi!” and then a pause, “It’s Leigh!” Lezark, that is. The normally raven-haired DJ had come from a hush-hush ad-campaign shoot at Pier 59, where Luigi Murenu kitted her out in the wig. “I can’t say who or what the shoot was for just yet!” she teased, “But I can tell you that this wig is not in it.” Then why, pray tell, was it on her head? “At the end of the shoot, I said to Luigi, ‘My hair is gelled back and I look a little wet. May I please borrow a wig?’ [Laughs] So, it goes back in the morning, but it’s coming out tonight. I don’t have to give it back, technically. He was like, ‘You seem so comfortable in it, relax with it, hang out with it.’ I feel like this is the start of a beautiful wig-borrowing relationship.” As for the color, the natural blonde (who, if you recall, uses box dye at home) said, “I’m coming back blonde one day.” And, maybe, with a chop to match?
