Maybe it's withdrawal from a recent trip to L.A., but apparel-designer-turned- bloggeuse Jayne Min's Céline-inspired decks on Stop It Right Now have us wanting to learn how to skate. Or to learn how to talk about it without sounding like a complete poser. Or, at the very least, to hang them decoratively all over ITG HQ.

Min, who just got a shout-out in September Vogue for her boards, e-mailed us to talk about how (and when) inspiration struck:

'I had just moved into a new place and was thinking of what I wanted to put up on a wall. I was going through my collection of skateboard decks and I really just wanted one that was more graphic and clean. I thought of how the CÉLINE print from SS11 would be so perfect and then I just decided to put it on a deck. It was an homage to my two loves— skateboarding and Phoebe Philo! I got into skateboarding in junior high because of my brother... I was never any good but I grew up in the community and it shaped everything about who I am today. Sometimes the commercial usage of it nowadays is pretty funny, but overall I’m happy that the industry is growing. I just want it to thrive!”
