Lady Gaga's Fame fragrance might not be available until next week (unless you're in Tokyo), but the futuristic, neo-goth “trailer' for her scent—directed by Steven Klein—hit the internet this morning, complete with the requisite full-body latex, black oil, and an army of tiny, inky men (little monsters?) swarming her naked body. There are also a whole lot of close-ups of her deeply pigmented mouth. We have makeup artist Stephane Marais to thank for that.

So, keen to go goth, Gaga style? (If the fall runways were any indication, most of us will be at least be dabbling with the trend post-Labor Day.) For eyes, try Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Graphite Shimmer Ink and a heavy helping of Clé de Peau's limited-edition Satin Eye Color in 118 to achieve the pop star's high drama. Gaga's lip color, meanwhile, oscillates between a deep mauve (We'd use MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Bittersweet, slicked over with Nars Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Rouge Tribal), and a seriously rich violet (we like Dolce & Gabbana Classic Cream Lipstick in Lust or CoverGirl Blast Flipstick Blendable Lip Duo in Intense, if you're feeling thrifty). Just add Deborah Lippman's True Blood collection polish in Let It Bleed and you're ready to claw your way to the top.
