"I wanted to go to theatre school, but I got rejected three times. You have 1000 people applying every year and only 20 people get to go—I made it through to the second round [of auditions] and didn't get in. And I was so sad, because I thought without a theatre education, I wouldn't be able to go all the way. I did get a role on a TV show, and then I got a manager after the first season. I keep on doing films and I'm lucky to continue getting work. It's not easy—the industry in Denmark is all government-funded, and much smaller compared to the US or England. But that's what I love about Danish films, you have to make a little look like a lot. That's art, in a way.

Because of work, I'm always wearing a lot of makeup—so I'm attracted to simple things. I like that kind of stuff. Like, when I wake up, I just take a hot, wet towel and wash my face with that. No soap, just the towel. Then I put on the Dior Hydra Life Silk Crème, which I use as a day cream and as a night cream, followed by Dior's DreamSkin. I just bought that—unless I have to go somewhere important, that's usually it. If I'm not doing anything and I have time, I'll use the Tromborg Face Oil Detox. Well... I don't know what it does, but it seems to really work for me. I just put it on and feel refreshed. I feel like it's working!

I've got this Karmameju Body Brush that I use, and that's great. I use it right before I shower, just to keep my skin looking good. In the shower I apply their body scrub, too. The Tromborg Body Oil is great—it's an oil that isn't too oily. You know how sometimes, how body oil drips around? With the Tromborg, you don't need to worry about getting it everywhere. I'm always taking care of my body because I work out quite a lot. I run and I do TRX, which is military training, but it's kind of fun. I'm not going to stand on the treadmill for an hour—I'll be bored. Exercise is what I do to stop thinking. I'm always thinking, it keeps me awake at night. If I'm not active a little bit every day, I'll go crazy.

I also have to take care of my hair, which is really badly treated sometimes. I use the L'Oréal Professional Hair Masks... They're soul-saving. And my shampoo and conditioner are L'Oréal Professional Absolut Repair because it's colored dark now, and that keeps it healthy. It also keeps the color so I don't have to go to the salon as often. Kérastase's Elixir Ultime is good for keeping it really shiny, but I just wash and go right now because my hair feels so damaged. I'd love to have shorter hair—I find it so sexy when girls pull off a pixie cut. Like Twiggy. I just really love that.

My makeup routine starts with that Dior primer. My skin is not that even, but sometimes I go without foundation. I like Dior's Nude Air Serum, otherwise. It's so thin. I used to wear something else but I switched, and it's the only time my boyfriend has ever complimented my foundation. I've never tried anything like it. Depending on my undereye bags, I might use Bobbi Brown Concealer with a tiny bit of translucent power over top. I don't like the matte look, but I think it helps. The only blush I use is Tromborg Vintage. It's very natural.

After my skin, I do my eyes. The mascara I use is Diorshow—I just love Dior's makeup, you can tell. I use the Brow Styler to brush my brows. I'm not very good at it, but it's pretty easy. I have this Anastasia Clear Brow Gel that I haven't used it, but I think it'll be really subtle. And I just bought Dior Addict Diablotine Lipstick. It's a really nice dusty nude. It's good with my coloring, where you can tell I'm wearing something but it's not too much. I do have this highlighter from Bare Escentuals too. I use it on my cheekbones and a bit on my decolletage so I can look sun-kissed. It's very elegant, I think."
