Sunday Riley Juno Transformative Lipid Serum

Sunday Riley Juno Transformative Lipid Serum

As you may have guessed by now, when it comes to skin, we appreciate a good glow. Jen Brill once told us that her “greatest fear in life is looking matte,” and while we're divided on this at ITG, we all agree we can enjoy a hint of joie de vivre reflected in our facial region. Actually, our entire-body region, if you think about it. Thankfully, we now have Sunday Riley Juno Transformative Lipid Serum in our lives. Juno is a golden-colored dry oil (that smells remarkably like oregano and olive oil), which hydrates, nourishes, and sinks in swiftly to leave you feeling smooth and not slick, but glowy. It packs vitamins A and C, essential amino acids, omegas 3,6 and 9, a UV shield, and natural anti-inflammatory agents. Which is to say, it's a perfect match for winter and its friends wind, dry indoor heat, lack of sunshine, and overall pallor. You could, if you were feeling particularly pun-ny, call us "glow-getters." (Ba-dum-ching! But no, really, we're kind of obsessed with this stuff.)

Love the writing! I'm so intrigued with this prod now.

I'm really enjoying the individual product spotlights! I prefer Juno to Rodin as a facial oil- the ingredients list is a little more 'exotic' and there is more of a focus on the nutrients each oil contains. Though lately I've been using some really wonderful oils from Amala, Ila, and Yuli - would love to see these smaller labels get a spotlight!

I've been looking for a good all-over glow product! Must try this one out. Luckily, I have found the best highligher for the face with Tom Ford and did a recent post on it here: Now will be glowing all over!

  • Bonnie Clyde

    I will try for sure!!

  • Dip It Black

Beautiful review. Sounds like a great product!
Defenitely gonna give it a try!

Rodin is so much better, and of course it smells vastly better than Juno. Juno smells like old herb-y food to me, which is not pleasant when you're applying first thing in the morning.

  • Jennifer Monforton

Sounds lovely and incredible addictive- can't beat a luxurious treatment like this!

After reading about Sunday Riley's Ceramic Slip on ITG, I went ahead and made the leap. It is easily the best facial care item I've EVER used, bar none. It has improved my skin 1000%. So I definitely will try out this Juno serum as soon as my next payday comes along!

Hey ITG crew - could you compare this to Olio Lusso/recommend one over the other? Thanks!!

i would also love to know! both oils are a big investment, and it would be great to hear which is preferred,

If you want to try a face oil that will change your life and make your skin appear more clear and glowing you have to try pure prickly pear seed oil. There is nothing like it to reverse skin damage and tackle fine lines. Nothing.

OK, so the problem I have with this oil is that they don't list the ingredients properly - as far as I've been able to tell, they're listed alphabetically, not by weight. This makes me think that they're not telling you the whole story. I want to know what's in the products I use, you know?

The ingredient list has even changed, my recently purchased bottle no longer contains Argan oil, for instance and this wasn't mentioned anywhere on Sunday Riley's website. This is the full ingredient list of the bottle I have:

Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil, Blackberry Seed Oil, Cranberry Seed Oil, Blueberry Seed Oil, Red Raspberry Seed Oil, Chardonnay Grape Seed Oil, Carrot Seed Oil, Black Cumin Seed Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil, Acai Fruit Oil, Marula Kernel Oil, Vitamin E.

I bought this Juno serum because it was recommended here(I've really liked all the stuff that intothegloss recommened--aesop products, joelle ciocco, etc.). But I have to say I was very disappointed at this oil! It makes you look greasy, not glowy. At first I thought I put too much (which in fact it was just one drop) but it was the same even though I put just a little bit. I wouldn't recommend this oil at all. I think I'd prefer Aesop's damascan rose oil.

I have heard that the Juno body oil has the same ingredients but it is cheaper..
