[Will Smith voice] Welcome to Miami! Congratulations on starting your vacation on a good foot by clicking this article. Hope you brought your bathing suit (this one, if you dare), even though locals may still be wearing sweaters and suede boots well into March. Like any large reptiles you may (will) encounter, let the locals be—they don’t know any better and your cries of, ‘But it’s 65 degrees out!’ won’t make any sense to them. What will make sense? Diving deep into the waters of Miami beauty. And there are a lot of other things to do too, like experiencing the thriving art scene and salivating over the thought of your next tostado Cubano. But you came here for the beauty, so let’s get to that first:

Friday

12PM: Start your stay off with the official breakfast of Miami, the açai bowl. They’re everywhere, but Raw Juce’s are the best. They've got a handful of shops in and around town, so no matter where you're staying, one isn't too far away.

1PM: A local secret? Many Miami Beach hotels offer day passes. The best one is at The Standard, where a day pass also includes access to their hydrotherapy and mud baths. But before you enjoy the pool, book a scrub at The Standard Spa. Pay a professional to deal with your legs, which, let’s be honest, you haven’t exfoliated since November. By the time you leave you’ll be back to your old summer self.

5PM: After a shower and an outfit change, take a short drive to the Design District for a blowout at IGK. The Miami blowout is bouncy and polished—or opt for beach waves.

7PM: Before you head into Mandolin for dinner, stop by Mrs. Mandolin next door. Shop Dondoks shoes, Maiami sweaters, and home goods sourced from Mexico to the Mediterranean.

8PM: It’s everyone’s favorite restaurant for a reason—the food is fresh and simple, and the atmosphere is unfussy. Sit outside and you’ll feel like you’re in Santorini.

Saturday

10AM: Treat yourself to breakfast at Icebox, and then explore the shopping around Purdy. At Beach Boutique, you’ll find expertly curated bohemian vibes with pieces from Ulla Johnson, Raquel Allegra and Merlette. Don’t leave without paying a visit to Gee Beauty. Founded by three sisters and their makeup artist mom, it’s the East Coast’s answer to Striiike. The skincare mecca includes products from Shani Darden and Melanie Simon, as well as a full menu of beauty services. Get a brow shaping and lash tint, and try not to buy everything in the store.

1PM: Hit the beach—any beach. Don’t forget sunscreen and a book you’ve been meaning to read.

4:30PM: Throw on a loose dress and visit the Rubell Collection (yes, of relation to Steve Rubell from Studio 54 for those who watched the recent doc). Don and Mera Rubell started collecting pieces from emerging artists in the ‘60s, building up a collection that includes work from Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. It’s one of a few private collections in Miami, and its Wynwood space puts it right in the center of Miami art. The exhibitions are constantly changing with new acquisitions, but the collection is major.

5:30PM: You’ve been booted from Rubell, but it’s too early for dinner—luckily, there’s lots to see in Wynwood. Take a picture in front of the Wynwood Walls, then walk over to Miami Mojito Company for a pre-drink cocktail.

7:30PM: Walk around the block to your dinner reservation at Kyu. Look around, inhale the humidity, and take a moment to recognize how amazing it is that it’s still light out here—the sun’s just starting to set! Hey, it’s the little things.

Sunday

11AM: Chug a bottle of water and head to Skin by Tatum for a session in the infrared sauna. You can never do too much sweating in Miami.

12PM: Visit Soho House for brunch at Cecconi’s. The prettiest restaurant in Miami does a killer weekend spread, and you don’t have to be a member to enjoy it.

3PM: So much of Miami beauty is mobile—case in point, Miami Glow. The mobile spray tan booth will come wherever you are. Plus, they only use organic tanning solution that never turns orange. You’ve been diligent about sunscreen (right?), but heading back to a cold place with a golden tan is a joy that no one should be denied. Keep your bikini and bracelets on for realistic looking tan lines that say, ‘I spent the weekend on the beach, what did you do?’

6PM: Slick your hair back, and head to Collins Ave. The spa at Faena doesn’t close until 9—take advantage of it by pregaming dinner with a Biologique Recherche facial. Ask for Flo.

7:30PM: Walk three blocks up to The Edition Hotel, enter the lobby and take a whiff. You’re smelling Le Labo’s Thé Noir 29. A woodsy, tea scent that can be yours in home fragrance form if you pop by the gift shop and get The Edition candle. Try not to get too distracted while you're in there, and head back to Matador Room for an out of this world dinner.
