"Hiiiii! My name is Sasha Shviderska (@sashashviderska), I’m 21 and I live in the Netherlands. Last year I finished my all-around journalism study and this year I decided to follow my passion and start studying interior design and styling. I spend my days painting, and taking photographs. I’m a very visual person. Just seeing beautiful things makes me really happy and inspired to create. For example, I really like to go and get fresh flowers at the flower market every week. It gets me in a great mood and it makes my apartment look more beautiful. Or buying a new candle every now and then. My favorites at the moment are Fornasetti Silenzio and Diptyque Feu des Bois. There’s just something about having a nice scent in your house that makes everything so much more luxurious.

I’ve always been interested in beauty and fashion. Mostly beauty. I remember being 10 and seeing this woman in a store who had this beautiful skin. She was so beautiful. I just remember that I could not take my eyes of this stranger. I guess that’s when I started experimenting with makeup—putting on a little mascara so my mom would not notice. When it comes to beauty I just really want natural brows, long lashes, smooth skin, very flushed cheeks and raspberry-colored lips.

I have a very minimal skincare routine—at least, minimal in my opinion. When I was using a lot of products, I found my skin getting upset and irritated. Now I wash my face with Cetaphil cleanser because it doesn’t strip my skin. I use my Phillps Visapure to clean my face on days that it feels oily or a little dull. This really changed the skin game for me. I get clogged pores and if I don’t do anything about them it’s really a disaster. I like to steam my face and go American Psycho on my pores. It’s the best. I know some people don’t pop their pimples or blackheads but I feel like my skin is way better after I use the tool. Then, I like to use a toner after cleansing because the internet told me so…lol. Chanel Gentle Hydrating Toner is the one I use.

On some days I use a mask. I really like the Glamglow Supermud because it’s super strong and really cleans out those pores. Lately I've switched to something lighter by Caudalie. I use their Glycolic Peel Mask first and a day later I use the Detox mask. It’s a lighter version of the Glamglow and a little more hydrating. I use the Vitamin C Booster by Paula’s Choice, go buy this stuff. Right now. It makes my skin GLOW and it kind of gets rid of pigmentation. But I’m still experimenting with that. I like to use a cream or oil and jade roll my face. It really makes a difference. My face looks more glowy and less puffy. I put my jade roller in the freezer and oh my… it feels so good when you’re really tired. If I don’t have the time I just apply some Hydrating Serum by La Mer and Crème de La Mer.

I apply sunscreen everyday. I just embraced my skin as it is—my favorite sunscreen is the Missha Safe Block SPF 45. Glossier Stretch Concealer where I need it, and for more coverage a Pro Concealer by MAC. MAC Brow Gel in Brunette goes on my brows and if I need a little more definition, I use mascara. Then some mascara on my lashers also. I always put on lipstick in the same burnt rose color—my favourite shades at the moment are Glossier in Like and Chanel Lip Blush 420. I like my lips to look bitten and really flushed and these are just the perfect colors for that. Sometimes I apply some Givenchy Gypsophila bronzing powder. It’s a really natural and sheer bronzer, but sadly, I don’t think they sell it anymore.

Everyday, I drink at least four cups of green tea and two liters of water. I can’t help it, I’m always really thirsty! Before I get in the shower, I dry brush my skin. It gets that blood flow going and eliminates dead skin cells. My hair is thin, but I have a lot of it so I'll wash with Kevin Murphy Smooth Again pretty often. If I blow dry my hair, I'll use some Gisou oil or the Kerastase Aura Botanica Essence D’Éclat. After the shower I put on a hydrating sheet mask—usually a Korean one. I like Nuxe dry oil after I shower, because I love the smell. And on my legs I use Sisley White Ginger Contouring oil. It smells like a spa."
