Another Oscars night has come and gone—another guacamole-fueled, three-hour red carpet broadcast; another reason to finally realize that Allison Janney has always been your favorite working actor. But if Oscars night is still pop culture's biggest night 90 years in, there's no reason for it to get routine. After the fun of launching Cloud Paint last year, we at Glossier figured 'Why not do it all over again?' So last night on the red carpet, Greta Gerwig, Tiffany Haddish, and yes, Allison Janney debuted Glossier's newest product, Lidstar glistening eye glow—available on Glossier.com in six perfect shades right this very instant.

The formula is buttery, the pigment is shimmery, and the staying power is nearly unlimited—12 hours of crease-free wear. And the shades—the shades!—are all universally flattering, almost-muted pastels that work on their own, work together, and work with whatever other makeup you're into. But why read about what you can find on Glossier.com right here, right now? You're still in red carpet mode, and you should be! So some celebrity breakdowns are what you're going to get. Starting with #mom...

Allison Janney

Makeup by Collier Strong

"The dress was very architectural yet fluid, so I wanted it to be all about a sharp define eye to lend a sense of drama to contradict the soft silhouette of the dress," Collier said. Complexion was perfected with a spray of Elizabeth Arden Hydrating Mist and tried-and-true Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #8. Glow came from a mix of Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk and Puff with Haloscope in Quartz. Then eyes, the whole point of it all, were a mix of Lidstar in Moon (a sheer blue-ish glimmer) and Fawn (a smoky taupe), finished with Make Up For Ever Cream Liner and L’Oréal Carbon Black Voluminous Mascara. Brows were done with Boy Brow in Blonde. Lips stayed neutral with a base of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, Lip Liner in Ballet Blush, and Lipstick in Nude Fizz.

Greta Gerwig

Makeup by Jenn Streicher

"Greta Gerwig opted for an old Hollywood glamorous look. I wanted the makeup look to perfectly compliment her vintage old-world style in a modern and fresh way. First we prepped her skin by first cleansing with Milky Jelly Cleanser and I then lightly spritzed using the Soothing Face Mist. Once her face was completely dry, I applied Priming Moisturizer all over the face and Balm Dotcom in Original to her lips to hydrate and prime. Starting with Stretch Concealer in Medium applied underneath the eyes, I then added the Perfecting Skin Tint in Medium all over the face. Next, I added Cloud Paint in Beam to the apples of her cheeks for a flushed, fresh, peachy finish. Lastly, I brushed Haloscope in Moonstone along the cheekbones for a light, subtle highlight. I brushed Boy Brow in Brown throughout her brows to create a bold, statement brow. I really wanted the brows to stand out and be one of the focal points of the look. The new Lidstar—I wanted to use them all! I settled for three shades—Moon, Slip and Cub. I started with Moon, applying it all over the eye, then added Slip (baby pink with gold flecks) to the outer corners, lastly, using a thin brush, I used Cub (a warm rose gold) underneath the eye on the lash line. I finished the eye with a thin line of liquid, black liner with a small wing at the end to the top lash line and multiple coats of black mascara for drama. We finished the look with Laura Mercier Lip Liner in Deep Wine and Pat McGrath Lipstick in Full Blooded."

Taraji P. Henson

Makeup by Ashunta Sheriff

"I always use Dermaflash 2.0 on Taraji before any major red carpet event so her skin is smooth and ready for makeup. Then I used Kate Somerville Dermal Quench Serum and Skyn Iceland Eye Patches on the eyes for 10 minutes. For complextion, we used Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer with my Perfect Blend by Ashunta Sheriff—it's a dual ended foundation and concealer that helps you get even in one step. To help pop Taraji’s already amazing cheekbones I used Glossier Cloud Paint in Haze on the apples of her cheeks using my fingertips so the look stayed soft and feminine. To highlight, I used Danessa Myricks Enlight in shade Confidence. I contoured using Cozzette S145 Perfect Contour Brush and used Cozzette Infinite Contour Palette was used to sculpt cheekbones. I kept eyes simple using Glossier Lidstar in Fawn—it applies wet and dries with a pop effect. It appears almost as if eyelids are slightly wet looking. I used KISS Beauty Lashes in Pixie—these lashes are perfect for a sexy and soft look. I placed them close to the lash line then created a thin line using KISS High Precision Eyeliner so eyes were defined. I always marry faux lashes and real lashes with KISS Mascara in Black. On lips, I used MAC Lip Liner in Cork, Lip Bar Liquid Matte in Savage and Drama Queen. By creating layers it ensure the lip color lasts longer. And I mixed the colors to create a customizable color that was special for Taraji for tonight."

Salma Hayek

Makeup by Matthew Van Leeuwen

"I started with Tatcha Essence on clean skin followed by Retrouvé Nutrient Face Serum and Tatcha Water Cream. Next I applied a pea sized amount of Tatcha Silk Canvas Perfecting Primer all over skin. Moving to eyes, I used a Viseart Lavender and Plum Matte Shadow from Pro Palette #1 and finished the eyes by patting on Glossier Lidstar in Slip onto the center of the lid for a luminous pop. I lined the eye with MAC Eyeliner in Prunella and finished with with two coats of By Terry Lash Expert Mascara. Next I filled in the brows slightly with Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown followed by Glossier Boy Brow in Brown to define and finish the brow. Complexion was done with Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation and then followed with Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard. I finished the skin by applying Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam to the apples of the cheeks and then a few dabs of Glossier Haloscope in Quartz for that perfect warm radiant glow. I then lightly dusted Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light for added endurance. I finished the look with Armani Lip Liner #11 and filled with Sleek Cosmetics Matte Me Lip Color in Velvet Slipper.

Tiffany Haddish

Makeup by Dionne Wynn

"Tiffany wore an authentic Eritrean princess dress with gorgeous gold Eritrean jewelry. I wanted Tiffany's makeup look to be royal yet a bit sultry, skin to be dewy and sunkissed. I used Tom Ford Stick Foundation around the perimeter of her face and Waterproof Concealer Foundation in Sienna. I used Glossier Haloscope on her cheek bones, at the peaks of her lips and on center of her forehead and Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate compact for contour. Then I mixed Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff and Dusk on the back of my hand to pop on the apples of her cheeks. On her lash line, lid, and under her bottom lashes, I used Lidstar in Herb for a smoky look. Then I smudged Tom Ford Eye Kohl Intense in Metallic Moss along the top lash line. Glossier Boy Brow in Clear set Tiffany's brows after slightly filling them in. I finished with L'Oréal Hydrofuge Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black. On her lips we used Tom Ford Lip Color in Plum Lush with Marc Jacobs Enamored Taboo in the center of her bottom lip."

Maya Rudolph

Makeup by Molly R. Stern

"I was so inspired and excited to work with Maya Rudolph, whose work and fashion style are both eclectic and always on point. Wearing a Couture Valentino trouser gown, I wanted her look to be fresh and glistening and modern. To start, I refreshed her skin with an energizing spray of Glossier Soothing Face Mist. Next I massaged in Natura Bisse Vitamin C+C Complex Serum and Moisturizer to quench and enhance her skin’s moisture for a glowing and healthy base to build upon. For her complexion I sparingly applied a sheer application of Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation in Shea to warm and even out the skin tone. Next I built her cheek up by first enhancing the hollows of the cheek using Chanel Soleil Tan Bronzing Makeup Base and then added a pop of Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam on her apples of the cheeks. I then swiped Glossier Haloscope in Topaz on the high bone of her cheek. To finish, I dusted a light application of Nars Powder Blush in Impudique [ed note: discontinued]. I defined her brows by filling them and sealing their shape using Glossier Boy Brow in Brown. For her eyes I painted all over her lid with the new Glossier Lidstar in Cub. Next, I defined her lower lash like with a soft application of Nars Eyeshadow in Bengali. I then curled her lashes with the Shu Uemura Lash Curler and then coated her lashes with several coats of Diorshow Mascara in Black for a feathered and luscious finish. I finished off Maya's look by applying a mixture of Buxom Plumpline Lip Liner in Infrared and Laura Mercier Velour Extreme Matte Lipstick in On Point."

Tracee Ellis Ross

Makeup by Lisa Storey

"Tracee is wearing Balmain—the structure of the shoulders and the fit called for a modern classic look. A really dark lip, enhanced brow, and flushing radiant skin. The dress from every angle is superb, so I complimented with subtle contour and slightly extended brows to elevate a simple makeup look. Tracee’s skin has the most perfect texture and tone, so I used a minimal amount of Chantecaille Future Skin in Banana and Tom Ford Concealing Pen in Medium Deep. I then used Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate #2 for a subtle contour. I highlighted her cheekbones, brow bones and down the center of the nose with Glossier Haloscope in Topaz, which I am obsessed with. Her cheeks were layered with Glossier Cloud Paint in Haze to give a perfect flush and compliment her lip. I then exaggerated her brows with Glossier Boy Brow in Black, building a generous amount to give a fuller more perfected but natural looking brow with a little drama. Across the eyelids, I swept a thin layer of Glossier Lidstar in Cub, then deepened the edges of the upper lids with Lidstar in Fawn. The look was completed by Laura Mercier Lip Liner in Deep Wine and Pat McGrath Lipstick in Full Blooded."

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Makeup by Katie Jane Hughes

"Rosie's look was effortless and elegant with touches of glimmer to compliment the amazing gown. I prepped Rosie’s skin with the Dr. Barbara Sturm Face Cream and Glow Drops, then applied Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer all over and then for a touch more coverage added the Flawless Fusion Concealer. I added a touch of warmth with Matte Radiance Bronzer in No. 2, blushed the cheeks with Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk, as well as Glossier Haloscope on the high points of the face. For eyes I used Lidstar in Fawn at the outer edge of the eye and Moon on the inner corners. I applied Surratt Grisille taupe blush in the contours of the eye of more drama. Her brows are done with the Rosie For Autograph Brow Pencil for softly shaded look, then groomed into place with Glossier Boy Brow in Clear. Lips were perfectly nude with a touch of By Terry Baume de Rose and Laura Mercier Velour Extreme in Vibe."
