OK, so we know what Bumble's Full Potential line does to your hair (as per TEN Founder Daphne Javitch, it's the volume oomph you've always wanted but never knew how to get without hot rollers). So what comes next? You've got this full, healthy hair, almost a new hair identity (full disclosure: Daphne's been using the line for a month now, so the effects are in full force), but how do you style it? Bb. stylist Tashina Tantalos hosted Daphne in their Meatpacking District salon and styled three looks. We linked up with the crew and shot each look in its final stage. Here's the how:

Natural, But Finished Texture

'I used a little bit of the Full Potential Hair Preserving Booster Spray as well as the Thickening Hairspray, which really worked with her natural texture and encouraged it a little bit with a curling iron to create a really soft, beach-y look. I would suggest to not be too perfect about the sectioning. Just rotate with each—so do one backwards and one forwards and on and on. Some can be bigger than others, too. That gives it more of a natural look, too, and leave the ends more straight. That’s what leaves it a little beach-ier and less pageant-y.

To finish, I use the Bumble and bumble Does it All Styling Spray. Another tip is, before you brush or finger-comb the curls or waves out, hit it with a cold-blast from the blowdryer to set it. That helps keep it together longer. Usually when the humidity is in the air, I kind of like my texture even more, so something like that will evolve so it looks better and better.”

*Deeper Cuts

*
'For the second look, I built on the base that we had but broke it down a bit more. I shifted Daphne’s part over to one side—you should put the side that looks more natural. I would say brush it or comb it back first to find a place to part and pull it over. Play with it! Usually one side will want to sit forward a little bit easier than the other—don’t fight it. Everybody definitely has a good side.

I stretched out the texture a little bit using my hands and sprayed Bumble and bumble Surf Infusion on the ends to give it a bit more shine and to break up the texture more. Stuck a barrette in there and loosened up the front a little bit more. It kept it not so perfect and swept off of the part.”

Airy Waves

'For this one, I heated up an inch and a quarter curling iron, taking really big sections and setting her hair loosely and pinning it off of her center-part with the Does it All Hairspray. Before I brushed it out, I gave it a cold blast of air from the blow dryer to cool it down. I took out the pins and brushed it while spraying a ton of the Thickening Dry-Spun Finish. I used the Bumble and bumble Flat Brush. I think it’s really important to brush with natural bristles because it kind of velcros the hair together and gives it that dreamy, airy texture. Don’t be afraid—if your hair takes the curl really well and you want to loosen it up more, you can brush it and brush it 'til you get what you want.”
