If there's one product that's held the captivation of the collective ITG staff's imagination for the past several months without relent it's the Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-In-Oil, lovingly referred to simply as the Lip Oils.

Lip oil, you say...what's that? Well it's not oily, if that's what you mean (the name no doubt refers to the ingredient list, packed with apricot kernel, coriander fruit, jojoba seed, and possiflora edulis seed oils). Put simply, it's just lip gloss. But lip gloss that went to high school in Bel Air, university abroad, and then opened an art gallery and hit it big in the right scene by the time it was 25. It, for lack of a better word, is fancy.

But fancy here is good because it's cut with the right amount of relatable likability. And anyway, lip gloss needed a reliably high-class counterpart, and this is certainly it. No more of that super-wet, hyper-sparkly nonsense. Here you're only going to get a hint of those two (plus that signature YSL tastes-like-candy satisfaction). Like with all lip glosses, try not to eat or drink within 10 minutes of application. But post-waiting period, the tint is durable while the stickiness dissipates. There's a hint of plump, too, as one would expect from something glossy.

Then there's the colors—all sherbets, even yellow (which reads more like your standard clear). Adorable, right?! How can you resist? You can't. Surrender. Surrender to the wonderfully fancy lip gloss.
