Is There a Way to Repair Hair Damage?

Split ends are forever, but once you've trimmed those off, you can get started re-growing and protecting the hair you have that's still in reasonably good shape. For supplements, it seems like just about every model swears by Viviscal, which is supposed to help your hair grow stronger, thicker, and more quickly.

You also can't go wrong with a good hair treatment—use something like Klorane Mask with Mango Butter to pack as much moisture as you can into your strands. It'll make your hair look smoother, give back some of its elasticity, and keep breakage to a minimum more generally. The easiest damage triage treatment we've run across is Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Overnight Hair Rescue and this one by Rene Furterer. They call themselves masks—you literally just sleep in it and then wash it out in the morning.

Apply argan or olive oil to nourish locks. Avoid hair dryer too :-)

Regular trims and coconut oil. Minimize heat and coloring to the bare minimum! Kick sulphates to the curb and take your omegas. It takes a bit but you'll get there!

After double-processing my hair I got some davine's vegetarian miracle (http://us.davines.com/vegetarian-miracle/d/1025). I was skeptical of the hippie name but it came highly recommended, and justifiably so. I use it once a week for hair that almost feels pre-bleach...

Coconut Oil has done wonders - granted my hair is not really damaged, I get split ends quicker because I blow dry and straighten twice a week. The hardest thing on your hair is obviously bleach, I personally had to cut most of my hair off due to a bleaching situation. Other than that I think you can keep your hair pretty healthy with the recommendations above and not shampooing too often. We are what we eat, eating healthy definitely has it's benefits too.
