These Are the Only Amazon Prime Deals I Care About

1

You’re still getting to know me here, but in no time at all you’ll learn that I’m both cheap and bougie. Chougie—let’s call it that. This chougie lifestyle has led me to some of the fanciest, most useful beauty products out there—as well as the ways how I (and you) can get them at a steep discount. There are a few ways I go about this—Dermstore seemingly has a sale every week, and so does SkinStore—but today I’ve set my focus to Amazon because it’s friggin' Amazon Prime Day! What’s that, you ask? It’s a SHOPPING HOLIDAY that Amazon created out of thin air. Nifty.

OK, here’s some more information: Amazon Prime day is 36-hour sale event that is happening now and will last until 3AM EST, July 18. The discounts vary, from a few dollars off to upwards of 40% in savings. Don't rejoice yet, though—you have to be an Amazon Prime member in order to snag a deal. Sneaky, sneaky Jeff Bezos. Not a member? No problem. Sign up here. It costs $12.99 a month, and you can sign up for a free 30-day trial (a tip: cancel your membership within the 30-day range if you’re chougie level: expert).

Now that that’s out of the way, here’s what I’m looking forward to most this fine Prime Day:

Foreo Luna 2 Personalized Facial Cleansing Brush$139.30 (original price: $199). The pitch: Clean off all of the gunk on your face, but gently.

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser$31.50 (original price: $45). The pitch: Clean your face without drying your skin.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil$20.33 (original price: $28). The pitch: Wear makeup? Use this to take it all off in a matter of seconds.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water$14.16 (original price: $14.99). The pitch: Oh la la, makeup removal, but make it French.

Mustela Gentle Cleansing Gel—$9.84 (original price: $16.50). The pitch: We all need to clean our bodies, and this one won’t be tough on your skin.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc Toner for Oily Skin$14.25 (original price: $15). The pitch: You want to shine, but just metaphorically. This does that.

Coola Suncare Organic Sunless Tan Dry Oil Mist$43.70 (original price: $46). The pitch: Literally anything is healthier than a tan from the sun.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment$10.82 (original price: $11.39). The pitch: Hands, lips, elbow, feet...it goes everywhere.

Purell Hand Sanitizer Dispenser$12.49 (original price: $39.42). The pitch: People be nasty.

LilyAna Naturals Retinol Cream Moisturizer$19.99 (original price: $39.99). The pitch: Retinol smooths out fine lines, and there’s enough in this tub to help you look like a baby...forever.

AHAVA Dead Sea Mineral Bath Salt—$10.78 (original price: $22). The pitch: Fragrance notes include eucalyptus and a relaxing ahhhhh.

Butter London Pantone Color Nail Lacquer—$8 (original price: $10). The pitch: Pretty and timely.

Rituals Foaming Shower Gel—$10.50 (original price: $15). The pitch: This isn’t a regular shower gel, it’s a fun shower foam.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner—$15.40 (original price: $22). The pitch: The perfect jet-black liner that lasts and lasts and lasts.

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion—$13.30 (original price: $19). The pitch: Everyone on skincare Reddit swears by this cystic acne juice.

Phyto Phytophanère Hair and Nails Dietary Supplement—$39.90 (original price: $57). The pitch: Kind of like the Jack and the Beanstalk beans, but for your hair.

Keep watching this space—I'll be updating it as more Amazon Prime Day deals roll through.
