'My mom didn’t let me wear makeup until I was 18. When I finally got my hands on mascara, I was so excited! I don’t remember what brand it was, but it was probably one of hers that I just took out of her bag. Now I use Tom Ford in Ultra Raven.

A lot of what I still do beauty-wise comes from my mom. She always burned sandalwood candles, and I still love that smell. She taught me to ice my face before I go to bed. It keeps your pores really tight, and you wake up with a perfect complexion. So after I wash my face with Cetaphil, I take an ice cube and rub it on my face until it’s gone. Now my boyfriend does it, too.

I also put Vitamin E on my skin—just pop the little pill capsules from Duane Reade or wherever and rub the oil on your face. It’s the best moisturizer. Then I use Heritage Rose Water because I've heard it's better for your skin than just tap water. Also, I use paper towels to dry off instead of washcloths because detergent can be irritating.

Growing up, I always wanted to model. I would watch the Victoria’s Secret shows—it was my dream to be in one. Now I'm the face of Scandalous, and my younger sister wants to model. She’ll dress up like me during the shows and walk around the house. She’s already a full-blown diva.”
