By now, everyone seems to have gotten over the initial “Is that really Aggy?” shock. It really is, minus her once-signature blond pixie cut. Barely-waved hair has replaced it, parted on the side, in warm brunette with strawberry tones. Out of context, the relaxed layers are reminiscent of side bangs, and perhaps better suited to Snapchat selfies than full-fledged womanhood. The other players here are increasingly-typical adult fare, particularly the glossed red lip, covered-up dress (an important silhouette for next season, as decided by Marc Jacobs), and a thoroughly reasonably heel height.

There's something to be said about the blatant before-versus-after quality of her transformation—though, when it comes to getting older, going short to long seems to be an atypical choice. The young-old-not-sure tension here means that, maybe, Aggy actually looks more youthful, but ultimately also more pulled together. So is this look mature because of her hair reinvention or in spite of it? Thoughts welcomed below.
