A beautiful woman is a work of art. You know what else is a work of art? A work of art. What happens when you marry the two? An Instagram by the name of @MuseumBabes. Now we can creepily stalk those beautiful women, but still feel good about it because there's a beaux arts aspect to the whole thing. Think of it as a #squatchallenge account, but for lady lovers with a more refined palette. If only for a peak inside a fine selection of the world's most beautiful museums, and maybe an occasional NSFW pic (in the name of art), it’s time to tap that “follow” button. And as for the man behind the ‘gram, "Xavier," a few of our questions have been answered, by him:

Day job? Video producer for a global youth media company.

Where are you located? Brooklyn.

Who's your favorite follower? @andymysto—He likes every photo I post, which probably makes him some kind of sex bot, but I don't care.

What's your favorite Instagram? Artist, wild man, giver of zero fucks, @DavidChoe.

What do you consider your biggest Instagram success? Not completely freaking out when my first account got shut down. Deep breaths.

Any photo editing apps you'd recommend? Snapseed is king.

What's your favorite emoji? Anytime a pile of poo has eyes and a don't-give-a-shit smile, I'm all about it.

If you had to pick one subject for the rest of your Instagram career: hot girls, puppies, or food? Is that even a question? The art world's unsung style mavens are my Instagram vocation.

So...he means hot girls.

Maybe we all need to take a look at this again.

This is the first post that I have not liked on this blog. Has a harsh feeling.

  • Carm

I didn't feel the least bit ruffled about this piece and I consider myself a hot girl who keeps her clothes on (mostly).. I'm off to follow this account.

Don't know what you mean. I find this post sad because it objectifies women, makes them look completely passive, in the context of art, which, as the response above notes, has been going on since who knows when and needs to stop.
And it has a kind of weird stalkerish feeling.

Sorry, I meant the post seems out of place on Into The Gloss, but they may have included it because one of their writers is a participants (a photograph of Annie is on the Museum Babes IG).

Seriously >.< , am I the only girl here who has girl crushes???!!!!
I have no problem at all with the purpose of this instagram! I really like looking to beauties (men or women) in everyplace I am.

And their looks of concentration and amazed in front a work of art is a plus.

Dearest ITG Reader,

We're working on something new called Glossier. It's launching soon(!) and we want you to be the first to know updates.
