“I used to have really long hair, and then a few months ago, my agency showed me a picture of Freja [Beha Erichsen], and I was like, ‘OK—that’s my next haircut.’ I didn’t think bangs would work because my hair is quite thick and wavy, but I love it. I feel more myself than ever.”

RULES, they’re meant to be broken. Antonina’s t-shirt was a street-fair find from her native Serbia, and even though she swears up and down that she’s a “good girl,” we see traces of Freja, sure, but also Gia Carangi. As such, let’s do a retro-matte red lip, and let’s do it with just liner, shall we? No lipstick. Just bone-dry, perfectly crimson crayon, by way of Dior’s Contour Lipliner Pencil in #999 Rouge Dio r. There was a day when mentions of MAC Spice Lip Pencil usurped mentions of any lipstick (that day might have might September 5th, 1998), except for, maybe, Clinique Black Honey. And this is because nothing beats a lip pencil; not just in terms of lining your lips, but for getting a perfect MATTE FINISH. A lip-liner-filled mouth is precise, requiring several minutes and a steady hand, but it doesn’t move. For hours. Or, perhaps, for the seven days of fashion week that are upon us…?!
