Sweater Weather Hair - Into The Gloss

Sweater Weather Hair

Hairstylist Paul Hanlon is getting us excited for fall in his work for Sportmax's Fall/Winter 2013 campaign. Sigrid Agren's dry-textured 'do seems to be a riff on Hanlon's "skinny hair" for Proenza Schouler, mixing the "raw, natural" imperfect pony from Fall 2013 with the "little bit of danger" from Fall 2012, for a low ponytail that's grounded in the back, as if tucked under her coat, and frizzed out on the sides and in front, like she just ripped off a wool beanie. We're into the idea of being able to use parched, cool-weather hair—and wool hats/coats/sweaters—to our benefit. Rather than reaching for the anti-static Bounce sheets, dig deep with your part and sprits on some Tousled Wave Spray, for a languid, texturized air dry. Then, fasten everything in a ponytail at the nape of your neck, stick your fingers in and mess things up a bit. It may not be sweater weather yet, but what's wrong with jumping the gun? Plus, it could work with that slightly brittle, post-beach hair, too...

I'm glad this could become the hairstyle of the fall/winter. My hair kinda already does this during sweater season. :-)
