Bobbi Brown Sunlit Nude Sheer Color Cheek Tint

Do we love the sun? Absolutely. But, our devotion to 100-proof sunscreen means we tend to look more Edward Cullen than Kardashian no matter the season. Which is why we get very excited when a new faux-glow product comes across our desk. This time, it's a re-issue of Bobbi Brown's limited-edition Sheer Color Cheek Tint in Sunlit Nude.

Unlike other cheek tints, Bobbi's doesn't look like mere blush on the skin—it looks like you’ve been in the sun. The pearlized, tawny stick imparts a flush so subtle and convincing, you’ll start believing your afternoon involved feeling sand between your toes (as opposed to running from one air-conditioned space to another). What’s more, if you actually do make it waterside, the creamy formula absorbs into your skin just enough to provide color that will last (come heat, ocean spray, or Evian mist).

We've been known to go full-body with this stick (i.e., slicking it on our collarbones, shoulders, and down the front of our shins), because, until Apple figures out how to make that computer-screen glow translate into an actual tan, we will fake it 'til we make it.

This looks amazing! A tint that looks like a natural glow? I think I'll have to check it out. Bobbi can do no wrong. Thanks for the recommendation!

Just picked this up at Nordstrom - I have light skin and is still very subtle, but buildable. It's dewy and not shimmery. Great alternative to blush this summer!
