Leave it to Vogue Italia to present Gisele Bündchen as you’ve never seen her before. Almost every inch of the 5’ 11 supermodel has been publicly paraded—including this month’s Vogue Brasil, where her yes-I’m-that-Super post-baby body was said to have motivated Testino’s cover shoot—but Meisel’s voyeuristic spread in the Italian mag hitting newsstands today offers what we'll call unprecedented intimacy (yes, we've seen the Pirelli calendar, trust us on this). The Health and Beauty cover story shows Bündchen posing in various states of undress at a spa, while receiving treatments both ancient (her nearly-nude limbs strike a sphinx-like pose while she undergoes cupping therapy) and cutting-edge (the mother-of-two is practically shown inside out getting a blood facial). We love a bare-faced Gisele as much as Gisele, herself, enjoys being makeup-free, but Pat McGrath's imperceptible hand is enough to make a girl drop everything and book a facial. Though we're sure that we can credit 99% of Gisele's allure to genetics, it is somewhat relieving to think that perhaps, for the mere price of a home mortgage, it could be bought. Maybe vampire-inspired technology could make us grow a few inches, too? A girl can always dream.
