What did we do before Instagram? Certainly not document the artisanal butter—one vanilla-flavored and the other, red pepper—that our meals revolved around for the better part of two weeks while in Paris for the fall/winter 2013 shows.

Stevie Dance (of Shop Ghost) was my roommate, along with a few Diptyque candles and a miniature polar bear figurine that came with the Stella McCartney invite, in a ground-floor industrialist loft in Lili Barbery-Coulin’s Left Bank building—a stone’s throw from Café Flore and dangerously close to the Dries Van Noten boutique. Highlights (and highly ‘gram-able moments) of the week included: the silver eye at Dior, the fur wedge booties that Isabel Marant showed for fall, an invite to the Saint Laurent show, several all-star breakfasts at Claus, and dinner at my new restaurant discovery, Shu, with stylist Kate Young (wherein we coined the term “#shrimpstache”). Lowlights—not pictured—included a broken heel, a forgotten razor, and shit weather for the first half of the week…not so bad.

Anywho, join us for a walk down memory lane through the @IntoTheGloss and @EmilyWWeiss ‘grams of Paris Fashion Week. Maybe have a baguette while you’re at it.

Holy smokes the PFW trip looks absolutely stunning! I love the variety in the slideshow, really gives us readers a wide range of what went on, although I am sure the best events were the experiences that you couldn't capture on film or in photographs (:

I must say, Emily, that I am completely smitten with your style... Haircut, makeup, choice of jewelry and clothes... These photos are wildly entertaining and offer some voyeuristic satisfaction as I work on my thesis... The weather is horrible in Paris at the moment and all this slushy snow makes me not want to leave my apartment until May. But now, I might go check out that Stone boutique, armed with my credit card and treat myself to dinner at Shu! (one can dream)

Dearest ITG Reader,

We're working on something new called Glossier. It's launching soon(!) and we want you to be the first to know updates.
