You'd have to imagine that one of the big draws of working at an Abercrombie & Fitch-owned store (that’d be A&F, Hollister, Gilly Hicks, and mini-me label abercrombie) is the legend and subsequent pipe dream of lucky staffers who, if attractive enough (a rumored major selling point in the A&F hiring process), is snapped up by the powers that be, buffed, stripped, delivered to a sandy New England beach and personally presented to Bruce Weber. A raucous photo shoot ensues, you pose with a yellow lab and a naked Norwegian man named Leif, only to later appear in a poly-bagged catalogue and a billboard near you. It doesn't seem to happen often, but it's happened enough times that it keeps the dream alive.

But... we’ve never actually met anyone who it happened to. Until— there’s always an until—we met 19 year-old Brit Sarah Dick, in NYC for castings. As a staffer at the Hollister store in her hometown of Guildford, England last year, Sarah submitted her photographs to a company-wide casting call and, months later, ended up in Martha’s Vineyard on a shoot with Weber for Abercrombie. While she's definitely one to keep your eyes on this season (those lips!), we were most impressed with the fact that the girl’s still got the same $3 lip balm she picked up on the Vineyard last summer: Mad Gab’s Shark Smooch Vanilla Lip Balm. “I don’t really like putting color on my lips, because they’re quite big and it can be overwhelming, but they chap really easily, so I love balm,” she explained. “I usually have about 10 different lip balms and use them all together and lose most of them, but this one just sticks around, I don’t know how I managed to keep it.” Us either, Sarah, but props.
