Very helpful, both! I looked up the shades you mentioned, and went for something of that colour family at MAC - which is a bit more accessible where I live. Copperplate eyeshadow is pretty perfect, even if the counter lady chewed me out for wanting to put grey on my face. Thank you!

I know chanel's notorious sculpting veil has made blogger rounds as a gray-based contour color for pale? That may be kind of out there though. How about one of those pale or mid-toned, matte taupe eyeshadow shades from MakeupForever? Very finely milled and blendable. Those suckers can easily do double duty. Beige 76? Matte Flesh Pink 157?

Thanks for this! I've been dreaming about that palette.. and must rush out and get those 4 MAC shades immediately. Contouring is so subtle, but it makes such a huge difference I find.

Do anyone have suggestions for contour colours for very, very pale, cool toned skin? Meaning nothing warm in tone, and nothing yellow-y - I'm completely stumped! ITG is really a major purveyor of cheekbone-envy, these days, making the right colour seem so necessary...
