And because water is used in the formulation there is an increased opportunity for mold or fungi to grow. Also the FDA banned collodial silver in over the counter medicines but it's used as a preservative in this creme. Although the silver is not ingested, I would hesitate to have it in a formulation when there are other, safer preservatives. I also believe it's not on accepted list of EU preservatives but I can't confirm. Overall the ingredient list has many safe, effective emollients, emulsifiers and stabilisers but I can't get past the collodial silver, jar packaging, and cost.
