Just because the days of wearing a designer (one designer) head-to-toe are gone doesn’t mean you can’t show your support in the details. Or you can’t, you know, get detailed. Like a car. Or a boat. Or another vehicular apparatus. Except you’re better than that since you’re a person, and a person has wants, needs, and desires. And one thing we want, arguably need, and definitely desire are the limited-run ncLA x Glamour Nail Wraps (we’re just nail crazy, guys). The wraps are inspired by prints from the resort collections of 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Bibhu Mohapatra, L’Wren Scott, and Peter Som, and are a cinch to apply: base coat, sticker, top coat. What's more? $5 from every $16-dollar kit (enogh for 3-4 manicures) goes to Girls Who Code, a charity that works to educate/inspire/prepare high school girls with all the techy skills they need to conquer the world—a cause rather close to our little blogger hearts.
Though we’re partial to 10 Crosby Derek Lam’s moody geometric options (Emily styled the spring collection [3-5] and starred in the lookbook), the other three packs are not too shabby: Bibhu’s Ikat prints are perfect for a beach holiday; Peter Som’s delicate toile-esque florals scream "spring," and L’Wren’s butter-yellow tornado sketches are just abstract enough to show off our mitts and our sense of humor. Done and done.
