Dior Crème Abricot

Dior Creme Abricot

So, it’s “wintry mix”-ing in New York right now (a cute, meteorologist-honed way of making not-so-cute simultaneous snow and rain sound like a jar of assorted nuts), it's cold, and a lot of our nails here at the Gloffice seem to be going straight to hell. Soft, peeling, brittle, flakyit’s a straight-up mess. Don’t even get us started on our cuticles (our poor cuticles!). Thank the good Lord of Dior for Crème Abricot, a much-beloved nail-fortifying cream that the brand conceived all the way back in 1963. The peach-colored cream is thick and viscous and a little bit gluey, so a little goes a long way (we’d recommend applying it before bed to let it sink in overnight) but when it does, friends, a difference is made. It will improve your nail strength, encourage nail growth, and condition your cuticles. It has a faint perfume (though, truth be told, it smells more to us like nice lipstick than apricots, and, either way, we're into it) and leaves your fingers looking just as good as if you'd just had a manicure (sadly, nifty hand massage not included). You can't do a damn thing about the weather, but you can make sure you're ready for itright down to the tips of your fingersand hey, that's not nothing.

I've heard such great things about this! Love the way you've photographed it.

Love this product! Truly the best nail cream out there, I've been using it for years. Did you know that if you're stuck, you can also use it on your lips! Weird I know but it works. :D

Good reminder that I need to buy a new one. Just finished up my 3rd container of this and it is definitely an HG for my dry cuticles.

I LOVE this stuff--and one pot will last you FOREVER. Seriously--one pot lasts me over a year! It's just so darn potent, only a tiny dab is necessary! And it stays really well on the cuticles (not like a lot of other creams and balms that quickly get rubbed away). Plus, sometimes I use it on my lips if I'm in a pinch or if I took a little bit too much and have some left over. It works well!
