He is amazing. I've admired his work for a long time. The soft braids, etc. And he is just so appealing with the style and tattoos.

Queen for a Day is amazing. The liquid version is great too. But it smells like orange juice that has been a little tainted. Worth it for the results though. Haven't used it in forever, that reminds me too...I don't think my hair can ever be big enough.

I don't know James Pecis, but after reading this, I really hope I am able to meet him one day. I was particularly taken by his remark: "I think a lot of the times hairdressers think too much like a ‘hairdresser,’ and not enough like a kid. Sometimes you just need to do something crazy and fun." It is not only subtly profound, but one of the most realistic, level-headed things I've read in a while and is something we should all remember whether or not we are hairdressers.
